please explain to me, in some detail, how nobama care could be repealed?

It can't right now.

Obama will be able to veto anything that gets through reconcilliation and we don't have the votes to overide the veto. In Nov. if the Pubs do great they may get some Rats, but probably not enough. So the first step is to cut all funding to it, eliminate any new agencies involved with it and keep sending bills to obama. In 2012 if we win the Pres. then the whole thing can be abolished.

Thanks for making my point, wmfights. Precisely, nobama care WILL NOT BE REPEALED anytime soon. Defunded, maybe. Repealed, absolutely not.

I pisses me off that all these columnists keep writing about repeal, repeal, repeal. NOT gonna happen.

I'm concerned that next year, when repeal doesn't happen, all this repeal talk now will be held against us. "You promised repeal," etc.

We really need to shutup about repeal. IMHO, we won't have to votes needed to override a nobama veto for a long, long time, if ever. Thus, defunding is the only way to go.

It is not, "Repeal, Replace." It's "Defund, Replace."

The way the bill was written there is no 'exclusion' provision. IOW if one part of the bill is found to be UNCONSTITUTIONAL the whole bill is busted. That is the approach that must be taken..in the courts to declare for example that mandatory purchase of insurance by all citizens is unconstitutional.
