Want it to be effective and a long lasting and positive memory to the Pakistanis?
Don’t Wait
Do it Immediately
Do it with such force that NOBODY will ever forget
Do it so that NOBODY will ever want it to happen again

So, 0bama knows he will have to do something in the event of a major attack on the US, even though he really doesn't want to bomb his muslim buddies.
So he's giving them a good long “heads up” warning, so they can evacuate their camps in time.
Makes me wonder if 0bama doesn't already know that an attack is coming.
Remember, he just said “we can absorb another attack”.

Dumb.
1. If we have a list of 150 terrorist training camps, we should have hit them already, all at once, and with no survivors.
2. If our plan was to only hit the terrorists after they did another bad thing, the plan should have been kept secret.

psy-ops ...
deliberate "false" leak ... simply the NSA publicly telegraphing a message to Pakistan ...
this time, Bob Woodward is OUR "useful idiot" ...

Another point ...
I'm sure that we have that entire Pakistan NW frontier area "satellite mapped" and GPS-bore-sighted for ANYTHING that we'd want to initiate ...
Certainly, G2 Soviet and ChiCom guys (in Pakistan) already know this ... and have aptly warned the Taliban ...
Of course, with modern technology (intell, etc) ... the trick is to use this situation against the Bad Guys ... and just laugh our butts off ...

>Ahmed Shuja Pasha flew to Washington later to admit that at least two retired Pakistani army officers who planned the Mumbai attack had ISI links “but this had not been an authorized ISI operation. It was rogue.”
