Tea Party Express to Target Lisa Murkowski For Defeat - Yes, Again.

The Tea Party Express (website: www.TeaPartyExpress.org) is prepared to rally its supporters in Alaska once more to defeat liberal incumbent, Lisa Murkowski, in her apparently never-ending bid for U.S. Senate.

"Lisa, take a hint, the voters rejected you once before and now watching you defy their will is bound to alienate yourself from Alaska voters even more," said Amy Kremer, Chairman of the Tea Party Express.

The Tea Party Express will unveil a new TV and radio ad campaign against Murkowski at a 10:00 AM news conference at the Anchorage Hilton on Monday, October 4th.

That same day (October 4th) the Tea Party Express will conduct a 2-hour "NO Means NO" Radiothon opposing Murkowski's write-in campaign on KBYR 700 AM based out of Anchorage.

More details will follow on Monday's event and the new Tea Party Express ad buy in the next few days.

3 new polls were relesed today

McAdams (the dem) came in last in all 4
Another showed Lisa/Joe dead heat - the 3 third showed Lisa ahead by 4 points.

NONE of the polls would release any of the normal stuff (# polled, locations, etc) so all are considered sketchy - but the local TV (A fan of Lisa of course) ran it as the lead story.

Yet another indication of the Unions, Big oil and Native Corps undue influence in the local media....

Yes, they will, and it is very unlikely that a write-in candidate will win anything.

When they take these polls, they are acting as if the candidate is on the ballot.

What a shock it is going to be for most people when they don't see her name anywhere.

In my district which is heavily Republican, Delay dropped out, and we had to write in the GOP candidate.

The Democrat won easily.

And that was only in a District, not the entire State.

If she is taking votes, she is taking them from the Democrat, not the Miller.

How big an influence does Big Oil have in your state? Agribusiness?

ANd how many folks live in Texas? Just over 24 million?

ALL of Alaska is about 620K - and about 1/3 cannot vote due to age.

Whole different game, whole different population.

but we may see this go to court, given the heavyweights involved not-so-behind-the-scenes.

Yes, I am from Texas, but that doesn’t change the historical fact that running a write-in campaign on the State level has only worked once!
