Celebratory Cigars Land Reds in Hot Water With Cincy Health Department

The city of Cincinnati Health Department will investigate the Reds for a violation of the state smoking ban after members of the team were seen smoking cigars during the celebration of the team's playoff berth.
A departmental spokesman told the Cincinnati Enquirer that five people called a hotline after members of the Reds were seen puffing on stogies handed out by team owner Bob Castellini. Castellini will be notified of the alleged violation via letter.

Mommy Government will swing into the rescue and fine those bad men, spending ten thousand dollars to investigate, wasting the time of dozens, all so someone can pay a $50 fine. Oh, and a request to raise taxes, as the city is running out of money for some reason.

I dumped my season tickets to the Chicago Cubs when the Cubs organization send a letter to it's season ticket holders asking their view on banning smoking in the park.
Mind you these professionals could not win a game if their lives depended on it but by God they were on the cutting edge of the feminized nanny state.
