Boy, what is with the blacks on the left? Are there any of them that aren’t crooks?
Yes, that’s how she spells it. She’s a woman named Eddie.

Dallas Morning Snews endorsed Broden this weekend.
Sorry for the triple post.
First I’ve seen any reference to the fact that Johnson could be in trouble.
Chet is just Ted with better driving skills.....
That's what has put her seat "in play".
I saw some video this morning of 0 speaking to some HS students. Many were wearing “tribal” paraphernalia meant to imply they were true Afro-'mericans. I would bet a hundred bucks that few of those idiots could point out one country in Africa by name. Not only that, if asked what country their fore bearers were from, they couldn't answer.
If they would spend more time trying to learn what makes the US so great instead of searching for reasons for their native land being robbed by the US, they would be miles ahead. They need to learn truth, not black hatestory.
“This does not bode well for the incumbents,” said Allan Saxe, an assistant government professor at the University of Texas at Arlington, who described the Republican momentum as a potential “tidal wave.”
I know Dr. Saxe - he was one of my college professors long ago... Saxe is quite a character - very informed and he is a Liberal - probably a registered Democrat and for him to say that there is likely to be a Republican Tidal Wave this fall elections ... very reassuring. As opposed to most Liberals Saxe is objective in his observations - he was long ago and seems he still is...
Not to worry Charlie Cook says the Democrats are coming back - hee hee hee!
My son and I wanted to laugh but considering that most kids have heard these ships names since first grade, it was disgusting that she didn't know this.
Not understanding what you are asking...unless you’ve never heard of a woman named Eddie? If it were a man it would usually be spelled with a ‘y’ on the end, just like a Billy or Billie. Of course, nothing is absolute as I’ve seen it go both ways. But she’s certainly not the first “Eddie” I’ve heard of or known that was a woman. Usually if it is a guy it is short Edward, which is not the case of a woman named Eddie - it’s just Eddie, just like Billie is not short for William - it’s just Billie.
Dallas Pastor Stephen Broden, and Bryan oil and gas executive retiree Bill Flores is challenging Edwards. Broden recently made national news by picking up an endorsement from former GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin; Flores has been in the national news, with strong support from the National Republican Congressional Committee, in his quest to defeat the often-challenged Edwards, who represents a mostly GOP district that includes Johnson and Hood counties.
It has always amazed me that Fort Hood could have such a limp wristed representative as Edwards.
Come January, Edwards is gonna be GONE.
I used to live in EBJ’s district before moving to North Dallas. There is no way EBJ is in danger of losing this seat. The district is drawn to capture minority voters. If she wins by less than 65% - 35% I’ll be stunned.
Chet Edwards, however, will lose. He trails in the polls by 20 points.
I tried to help Jay Mathis beat Chet back in 1996. Well run campaign but lost by 8 points. Chet really needs to go down.
Sounds like Shelia Jackson Lee’s district...at least Pastor Stephen Broden is a black conservative...John Faulk a conservative white is running in TX 18th District which hasn’t much of a chance of coming close to Lee...to bad!!!
