A parent once said this to me after his teenage son walked into my yard and punched my 8 year old daughter in the face to impress his friends.
I would have seen that kid in jail if he did that to my 8 yr old daughter. A huge sign of trouble coming for that boy.
His friends would have been carrying a bag out of my yard if he did that to my daughter.
I had the same thing happen only it was a woman making an excuse for her daughter. Her daughter demanded to play with two 8 yo boys (one my son) and they said ok. When the little girl again demanded that they do something they didn’t want to do and they refused she threw a fit and kicked my son in the groin and stood there laughing at him. He recovered enough to throw a punch directly to her snout. I witnessed the entire chain of events and when momma came to me and complained that I had to discipline my son for hitting a girl I relayed the story and told her that if her little darling wanted to play with the boys and try to bully them then she should expect to be treated like one of the boys and get punched back. She didn’t like that but finally stomped off when told to piss off. It’s not just boys who do things like that and have their mommas defend them.
