With four weeks to go until Election Day, union leaders are cranking up their ground game to mobilize a dispirited rank-and-file and turn out votes for Democrats.

"A few years ago we promised people change and a lot of them don't think this change has happened soon enough," said John Meyerson, a lead coordinator of union-member volunteer efforts in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

"When it to comes to rank-and-file employees such as myself, we have our activists and those we can't mobilize," said Sylvia Pino, a Safeway grocery clerk who volunteered in the 2008 election. She added that it has been more challenging this year to get out the vote for Democrats.
"These are people that were happy that we got President Obama into office," she said, "and now they're upsest."

Get out the word. The unions have destroyed your jobs. The unions have destroyed America. The Unions are AL Capone.
Who cares?................
All the apathy seems to be on side...
Q: Is it ignorance or apathy?
A: I don’t know and I don’t care.
Oops. Should read: “All the apathy seems to be on one side...”
My Hometown Lyrics
Artist(Band):Bruce Springsteen
I was eight years old and running with a dime in my hand
Into the bus stop to pick up a paper for my old man
I’d sit on his lap in that big old Buick and steer as we drove through town
He’d tousle my hair and say son take a good look around this is your hometown
This is your hometown
This is your hometown
This is your hometown
In ‘65 tension was running high at my high school
There was a lot of fights between the black and white
There was nothing you could do
Two cars at a light on a Saturday night in the back seat there was a gun
Words were passed in a shotgun blast
Troubled times had come to my hometown
My hometown
My hometown
My hometown
Now Main Street’s whitewashed windows and vacant stores
Seems like there ain’t nobody wants to come down here no more
They’re closing down the textile mill across the railroad tracks
Foreman says these jobs are going boys and they ain’t coming back to your
hometown
Your hometown
Your hometown
Your hometown
Last night me and Kate we laid in bed
talking about getting out
Packing up our bags maybe heading south
I’m thirty-five we got a boy of our own now
Last night I sat him up behind the wheel and said son take a good look around, this is your hometown
They better be ready for voters anger directed at them for the democratic party!
Talk about a target rich environment!
The sheeple have been so dumbed down. Scares me.
