Campbell soups of Canada are now offering hallal foods to Moslem customers. Don't the Moslems offer a prayer to allah when they slaughter the animal? If this is so it is meat that has been sacrificed to idols which is against the Christian religion. I am sure that someone can quote the chapter and verse on this.
Is Campbell kosher as well? Jews have been in this country since the days of George Washington but they are not catered to the way the johnny-come-lately moslems are. I don't mind a rabbi blessing the animal since the God of the Jews is the same as the Christians but allah is something else all together.
1Cor. 8 and 10 addresses the issue, in which it is taught that an idol has no power, and so the believer has liberty to eat meat sacrificed to idols, sanctified by the word of God and prayer, (1Tim. 4:4,5) unless it is part of the worship or if it offends someone who thinks it is wrong. Rv. 2:14+20 does condemn it, and it is generally understood as referring to the eating being part of pagan worship, or contextually leading to it.

We ava a local company that sells cookies and cakes. They are considered kosher as a rabbi declares them so. Once when the rabbi could not come down to make his declaration, he did it over the phone!
So the Cambell’s soups thing is probably more symbolic than fact.

Campdell's soups have not graced my pantry of late; my store of non-perishables tends toward thr dry, so that space is not taken up with water. That said, this article does not compel me to boycott.

I see a huge problem and I have for a long time. The problem is America sees a few mosques and says - no big deal. Then a few more. Then islam is praised is school textbooks and Christianity is disparaged. Then a little sharia law here and there, no big deal. Then children from public schools are taken on field trips to mosques and they kneel on prayer rugs. People speaking out against islam are charged with a hate crime. Muslims get elected at the local level and move up to congress, then the White House. Corporations begin to give in to muslim demands (Disney comes to mind). Before you know it, muslims have conquered America, just as they have much of Europe.
We either fight back now or it will be too late.
