Not one California neighborhood in the top 25? I’m surprised.

I wonder what the percentage of illegal immigrants live in those 2 Vegas neighborhoods?

Based on 20th/21st century American history I’d say there’s a neighborhood in Hyde Park that has been dangerous far out of proportion to these others.

Guess Atlanta is a complete and total hell hole. Gee, I wonder why. Also interesting: the most dangerous DC neighborhood is adjacent to the Navy Yard, where they are spending billions to create “outdoor spaces,” as well as the Nationals stadium. I am surprised, I thought it would be the Trinidad neighborhood and points northeast.

Hmmm....a lot of the neighborhoods are near MLK Blvd. Gosh, what are the odds?! Maybe crime would drop if we quit naming streets after MLK...?

I never drive into the city limits of Atlanta without benefit of my Smith & Wesson 45 Colt Revolver with at least two or three speedloader’s worth of backup.

Funny this supposed neighborhood was public housing that was wiped off the map by Hurricane IKE. How old is this info anyway?

Yeah, I saw this the other day here.

Hard to believe that Detroit doesn’t have one in the list.

I don’t pay too much attention to the news around here, but it’s not like you hear that much about murder in C Town these days.

Not like years ago.

Actually, California ghettos are more laid back.

I’m originally from Jersey, and the ghettos there and in New York were WAY worse.

I live in Long Beach and have been to Compton, Watts, South Central and Inglewood. They are not nearly as scary as Newark or The South Bronx.

North Las Vegas is where a lot of black L.A. gang members moved after Hispanic immigration pushed them out. Not at all surprised to see the area well-represented on the list. Every caucasian LV resident knows never to go near D Street or East Fremont.

I guess this is a matter of opinion. I would venture into Newark (Not near the courthouse, no way no effing how) and South Bronx isn’t that bad to me - But I will NOT travel down the highway through Columbus OH anymore.

Those are black areas - especially D Street (note the presence of a Martin Luther King Blvd nearby) - though there are similar Hispanic neighborhoods on the east side.

With Hussein and his buddies moving to DC, you’d think Chicago would have dropped in ranking.

During my high school summers I'd work the pop trucks as day labor. Once I was paired with the Scovill route driver. Of course, I was proudly sporting my "City of Parma" t-shirt, lol!
