With 48 slain in first 6 months of 2010, 2009 toll of 80 may be exceeded
Forty-eight Americans were killed in Mexico during the first six months of 2010 — a deadly pace that appears likely to exceed any previous year of homicides on record, according to the Houston Chronicle's analysis of the U.S. State Department's death registry.
The tally doesn't include two Texans reported killed Sept. 30 in separate incidents in isolated areas of Tamaulipas, where the terrorist group known as the Zetas has been warring with their Gulf Cartel rivals in communities all along the Southeast Texas border.
A college freshman from Brownsville, Jonathon William Torres Cazares, was shot and killed after authorities say his public bus got hijacked on a highway in Tamaulipas.
"He was 18 years old and traveling in Mexico visiting his family," according to a statement issued by Leticia "Letty" Fernandez, a spokeswoman for the University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College. "Our thoughts go out to his family and friends."

Obama believes we STOLE Mexico from the Mexicans. So this is his way of GIVING BACK what we owe Mexico. He has already apologized to Mexico and now he's letting America be punished. Also Obama believes ILLEGALS will VOTE FOR HIM. His hope is that there is enough voter fraud to keep him in position when he runs again - and HE WILL RUN AGAIN.
We should be treating this country and their narcoinsurgents and criminals exactly as we do in Afghanistan and Iraq. Mexico should be inundated with armed Predator overflights, ready to rain hell at a moment’s notic.

EAGLE PASS, Texas — Federal authorities are investigating the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old Eagle Pass drug suspect, allegedly by a U.S. Border Patrol agent.
Maverick County Sheriff Tomas S. Herrera said Friday deputies found no evidence Juan Mendez of Eagle Pass was armed when he was shot. The agent’s identity hasn’t been released.
Herrera says the agent stopped a truck Mendez was driving Tuesday and began to question him. Witnesses say a 15-year-old boy fled the truck, and Mendez struggled with the agent, broke free and was shot twice. Herrera says Mendez was taken to Fort Duncan Medical Center in Eagle Pass, where he died. The passenger is in juvenile custody.
Herrera says 325 pounds of marijuana were found in the truck.[snip]
I hate to say this but it is hard for me to have sympathy for any American who travels to Messico. The dangers there are well known and we cannot secure the border fast enough.

Our federal office-holders are derelict in their constitutionally mandated duties to the point of criminal negligence. We should vote them ALL OUT of office as a matter of first principle....

We should then prosecute and penalize every thug and thief that has gladly been part & parcel of this extraordinary fraud, deceit, and danger to our way of life.

Finally...
The "amnesty" we offer to the illegals: (a) Safe-passage to the nearest southern border check-station...
(b)As they freely elect self-deportation in lieu of criminal prosecution for violating the immigration laws of the USA....

I say we dig a trench 50 feet wide and 100 feet deep from Tijuana to Heroica Matamoros and fill it with water and crocs.
Then staff it with guards armed with automatic firing weapons on the American side, California to Texas..
Don’t go to Mexico. Never set foot until order is restored to that sad land. Lots of good hard working folks down there but now the wild drug gangs are in control. Boycott all things Mexican. Lots of other great places to go where your chances of being beheaded are a lot less.
Not without producing a Birth Certificate. At least 1 state will force the issue. I am still doubtful he will be in office for his full 4-year term. Lets see what happens after the Nov. 2 Tsunami.
I appreciate your obstinance but that will NOT happen. He will NOT produce a birth certificate. It is sealed. That issue is over. MANY have tried and nothing happened. Even if he is born outside the U.S. his mother was a citizen.
Obama will complete his term. He will run again. The fraud factor will determine if he gets another four years or not. I am nervously hopeful that Nov. brings a tidal wave of a clean sweep of RINOs and Demoncrats replaced with decent people.
What I know for sure is that we must NOT let up. We must attack this as if we were Obama people and FIGHT for it. Never let your guard down. Never act like it's in the bag. Act like it is an UPHILL struggle. We also have the fraud factor to overcome in November. Let's pray, hope .... whatever ... that conservatives take over that will stick to righteous principles and stop this anti- American course of destruction.
If that is true he is not a citizen at all.....He is only a citizen if he was born in the U.S. (which I feel is doubtful). Let along a "Natural Born" Citizen as the Constitution requires. HE IS A TOTAL FRAUD!......
By sitting on his hands over this case he is tacitly admitting that border issues default to the state; a direct contradiction to his lawsuit against Arizona.
