Many Americans followed yesterday’s mine rescue in Chile. After watching and seeing how a REAL President and First Lady act it is a wonder that Obama’s ratings aren’t at -30!

This seems to be a leading indicator for polling of the dems in this election. In about a week or so, look for the GOPers to have some more favorable numbers.

I stopped paying attention to Rasmussen Presidential polls when they failed to reflect Obama's collapse in the last few months--I mean, the guy's a pariah!

He should be polling around -40.

Many Americans followed yesterday’s mine rescue in Chile.

Notice how the Chilean President and his wife were on hand for most or all of entire rescue operation, from miner #1 to #33, hugging each and together the group sang patriotic songs. You just wouldn't see that here. Obama would fly in for the last one to be lifted out, take credit for the entire operation, give a teleprompter speech reminding everyone how awesome he is, then fly back to the golf course.

I liked how the president thanked by name all the world leaders. Well, almost all.

Rasmussen must be using a legit phone list. Maybe he is finished playing games. Question: what in particular has Obama done in the three days to drop a rolling average of -12 to a rolling average of -18?
Answer: not much.
Suspicion: Rasmussen jerking us around again.

The weekend polling seems to favor Obama, and now that's rolling off the 3-day average.

Obama seems to do better when he keeps his mouth shut. So, the more he is on the campaign trail, the lower he should sink.

Ras lost me the night before the Scott Brown election. He basically froze like a deer in the headlights.

OT...Has the Great Zogby polled much this election cycle?

As I just posted: I think it's because Obama opened his mouth (and inserted foot). This latest attempt at demonizing the Chamber of Commerce isn't working except among his faithful followers.

Notice in the Chilean Presidents talk after the last miner was on the surface, he thanked a host of Latin Countries and their leaders. Even mentioned the leader of England.

But not a mention of zero. Obeee is too busy priming for the mtv lash-up. I was thrilled to see how the entire country met the challenge of saving miners lives. And letting the world know that God was involved. Hats off the good folks in Chile.

I'd like to propose a trade with Chile...... Their President for ours!

The ONLY thing they have in common is NEITHER one was born in America!

Oh Cripes, let’s not take this poll seriously.

He was -13 just a few days ago, UP from -20, now he’s back to -18. What’s it gonna be tomorrow? -10 ?

"After watching and seeing how a REAL President and First Lady act it is a wonder that Obama’s ratings aren’t at -30!"

No kidding! Can anyone here imagine the Obamas actually hugging regular workers like these miners? Or, for that matter, spending almost two days at the mine, making sure they got out ok? Not to mention devoting so many resources to their rescue. I'd vote for the Chilean guy over Obama just about any day. (and he's probably just as qualified as Obama--neither one is a true natural born citizen, after all)

RE: But not a mention of zero

He did thank God and America.

I think Obama would take this to mean that he has been thanked since he mentioned the former :)

His basement for strongly approve is 20-22%... they likely won’t go lower than that no matter what the guy does... he hasn’t hit completely rock bottom yet, but that’s likely due to about 5% who just wont admit they supported a dud, more than they strongly support him.
