Free Republic Friends: The 3/5 Marines and other units are getting hammered by the Taliban fighters because the Obama administration is denying them proper reinforcement and the necessary war materiel to do their jobs.
We know about the 3/5 because they relieved my son's unit, the 2/5, in Iraq, when my son came home. The 3/5 is now serving in Afghanistan.
I am asking you to pray for all of them. All the units are suffering severe casualties--the 3/5 has suffered more than seven or eight casualties this week, losing four at one time. It's difficult for us to keep an exact day-to-day tally because it's difficult to tell if there are overlaps in our reports, since they come from various sources.
These guys are just like all of us, except they have made the additional commitment to protect the nation: you and me. Obama has no interest in these guys except as they serve his agenda.
There are families today grieving directly because of the actions of Obama, Reid and Pelosi.

If that is true, then there is an urgent need to either get 0 out of the WH now, and not wait till 2012, or get our troops out of Afghanistan.

Wow! Prayers are definately going up.
I now have a little more attention to these kinds of stories now that my son is in the Army. He just finished his Basic/AIT and now is going through Airborne School. He is slated to go to the 82nd Airborne unit upon graduation (if he doesn’t get a Ranger/RASP) contract. I know he wants to do his part and be in the action, but I don’t think he fully realizes how tied his hands are going to be because of Obama and company and the ROE’s.
It’s is inspireing and humbling at graduation to see and meet some many brave and patriotic people who willingly and voluntarily risk their life to protect ours. Being in a crowd of parents and family of these brave men really inspires you and gives you hope, realizing that there are many other people with beliefs and commitments much inline with your own. Even though the number of patriots in America may be small, our strength is 1000 times greater then our enemies.
God truely has blessed the USA with such brave men and women. The day America forgets about God’s blessings is the day we truely fall.
Anyway, my prayers are going up not just for the Marines and soldiers in harms way, but for the families of thoes brave men and women.

I read today in the local San Diego news today that four Marines from Camp Pendleton were killed in action. I think they were from 3/5. Prayers are up.
