On ABC's "This Week," Meghan McCain called Delaware GOP Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell a "nutjob."
Christine O'Donnell's campaign just emailed me the following response from campaign manager Matthew Moran:
Christine overwhelmingly won her primary battle against the establishment candidate, so Ms. McCain's vast experience in politics and running for office probably won't influence many Delawareans of any age to listen to her latest rant. Her parents are truly a class act, and am certain they brought her up to be more respectful of a possible future colleague. As Christine rises in the polls, and repairs the damage done by the establishment with their false statements, the campaign will continue to focus on jobs and the out of control federal spending."

"I speak as a 26-year-old woman," McCain said... "And my problem is that, no matter what, Christine O'Donnell is making a mockery of running for public office. She has no real history, no real success in any kind of business. And what that sends to my generation is, one day, you can just wake up and run for Senate, no matter how [much] lack of experience you have."Remind you of anyone else? Christine has more real-world hard-knocks experience that that other former senator. What is his name? -- Barack Obama, IIRC.

O’Donnell has 15 years on Megan but looks 5 years younger.

Paris is way cooler than Meghan. At least she does not pretend to be anything more than she is. Meghan actually thinks she has something to say.

We all realize that Meghan McCain is being used (very willingly) by the leftmedia to smear conservative Republicans running for office. She parrots the liberal line, i.e. they're all 'extremist', 'dangerous', 'crazy', etc. Of course, if the expected Republican electoral tsunami occurs, Meghan McCain will disappear from the airwaves as her usefulness (to the left) will have come to an abrupt end.
The O'Donnell campaigns sarcastic, mocking response to Meghan McCain's idiocy was both necessary and effective. Frankly, if smears and lies really worked, most conservative Republicans running for office this year would be trailing badly, but they aren't...they're winning. Democrats are desperate and panicky. Using the obtuse, corpulent Meghan McCain to bash lovely and capable Christine O'Donnell on a 'serious' news show proves it. Go Christine!

Its best to ignore the likes of Ms. McCain who is simply desperate for attention. Precisely.
Ms. McCain has learned that the easiest way to get "ink" is to backhand conservatives.
She has yet to figure out, however, that the lefties will throw her into the (metaphorical) wood chipper at their earliest opportunity.

So daddy McCain is out pumping up Rino Carly while his pundit daughter is out bashing O’Donnell as a ‘Nutjob’ on the same day? Looks a little like an orchestration by the rino establishment to me. In league with Rove?
Daddy McCain could have come out and campaigned for O’Donnell, go figure...
Seems like they would rather the communist win than have a conservative power dilution.
So bashing O’Donnell at this point makes me wonder that they are worried that O’Donnell might win?
I just sent that poor over abused girl some more money just to spite the “Nutjob” republican establishment.
