“I do not see how it can be construed to advocate anything besides freedom. I guess that being for freedom is not allowed?”

"Gasden Flag"= "Freedom"= "Conservative Party"!

Isn't it funny .. Most of these polling places, as we know .. are manned by "Rat Bas-Turds"= "DemocRATS"= "Socialists/Slavery" and they recognize the flag as a Political Statement that they don't like/wont allow!?

What if you wore all red? Shoes, purse, everything? Someone should try this with this election judge.

According to another thread that I was just on .. You could wear ‘prison garb’ and walk right on in to the voting booth!

Military uniform? .. Nah!

A burkha or hijab wearing voter should be immediately ejected from a polling place. That Muzzie outfit is de facto electioneering, much like the garb and posing of the NBPP.

I’m with her 100%.

But, there is something to be said about stealth. Or at least they’re not as likely to lose your vote if you look like everyone else huh, knowhatimean.

"Don't tread on me" is non-partisan. It's like the American flag, the Statue of Liberty, or Semper Fidelis.

No reasonable law would ban wearing items with those images or messages at a voting place.

I gave blood once and was wearing the little “I gave blood” sticker they give you. I then went to vote and they challenged the sticker! I explained what it was, they explained back that they contest ALL buttons & stickers.

They did let me vote.

As long as she's not wearing a pin that says “vote for so and so” I don't believe she is electioneering. I was a poll watcher in NY and you'd be shocked at how many people would stand in line waiting to vote and just start yelling “vote for Obama”, or “vote for change”. They were told to be quiet but still voted. Come to think of it my first vote was for Bush sr right after I turned 18. I had a Jean jacket with pins of different bands and such, hey it was cool at the time. In the middle of my band pins was a Bush/Quayle ‘88 pin. I think they thought I was a democrat because of my age, dress back then etc. Nobody noticed the Bush pin until I left the booth and nobody said anything. Then there's the ever present ‘rats that measure out the required 100 feet from the polling place (just happens to be where the parking lot is) and yell and scream and try to give stupid people handouts on who to vote for or your children will die, etc. That's much worse than any old pin.

I bet if I went in to vote wearing a Stalin shirt nobody would say a word. But I’m not wasting my money buying that garbage. You can say Stalin isn’t running but either is a flag pin. Being female, if they requested I remove my shirt to vote, can I sue? ;)

If you had a tattoo, of a Gadsden Flag, would you be banned from voting?

"You cannot legally engage in political advocacy in the polling place, and for that reason, you cannot wear political buttons or badges."

The Gadsden flag is not a political party symbol. It was an ensign first used by the US Navy:

Col. Gadsden presented to the Congress an elegant standard, such as is to be used by the commander in chief of the American navy; being a yellow field, with a lively representation of a rattle-snake in the middle, in the attitude of going to strike, and these words underneath, "Don't Tread on Me!"

I've voted in my military uniform many times. I stood in line during either the 2004 or 2006 elections with two other uniformed voters.

"Since it didnt advocate a person its a grey area, but you cant advocate for a party either, and in Texas the Libertarians have used that flag and so have tea party folks."

Candidates have used the American Flag also as well as the Color Red so I guess we have to ban them also.

Also Most candidates wear clothes, so I guess we will have to vote naked.

When exactly did common sense disappear in America?

I’m with you on that.

Patriotic garb are to hardcore leftist Dem-wits like garlic to a vampire. It really ticks them off ... which means they might just abuse their “election judge” power and harrass a voter over it.

Come on people, just don’t do this sort of crap. When it comes to voting time, leave the political electioneering outside of the polling place. Simple as that.
