Which Campaigns Should I Support/Best Bang for the Buck
10/21/10 | self

Since my funds are limited, here are my criteria:

1) Good shot at winning, though not a sure thing, and

2) Critical race either because the Democrat candidate is particularly evil, or has seniority and an important committee position, or symbolically important ie: Ted Kennedy seat

I intend to donate to five races

Thanks for your help

Definitely the Coons/O’donnell race in
Delaware.

First, don’t believe those alleged double digit Coons leads. The margin dropped from 20% to 9% in one week. Does anyone really believe it was ever at 20%? Second, Biden and Obama stopping by to help Coons out...why if it was such a sure thing. Third, Coons is about as evil/liberal/communist as any candidate in America...he’s known at “The Bearded Marxist.”

Finally, On Halloween Sarah Palin’s coming to an all day event in support of Christine. There’s going to be an immense push in the week upcoming.

Thanks. Good tip on Sara Palin coming. That should give her a boost.

OK dervish, suggest you whirl over to the MN 8th District race between 18 year incumbent Jim Oberstar and GOP challenger Chip Cravaack. Cravaack has a real shot here, and your contribution will help fund the outstanding ad you can see at this link : http://chipcravaack.com/

The ad broke tonight and is part of the Cravaack campaign's final push. This seat has been held by the Dims for 60 years. As one well known former Iron Ranger said, "The Times - They Are A-Changing"

Donate to the Ruth Mclung campaign. She is running against Raul Grijalva in Arizona’s 7th Congressional District.

Grijalva is an evil commie SOB. He called for the boycott of his own state. We need to get rid of this clown yesterday.
Ruth is leading by a slim margin, but Grijalva is up to his old tricks. He has sent his people door to door to sign up Latino voters for early ballots. Please donate to this race. We cannot take one more Grijalva term.

Sharron Angle has pulled ahead by a few points but needs money to scrape by these last few days so we can FINALLY throw out Dingy Harry. She ought to be a given.

Dino Rossi could use some help against Patty Murray out in Washington. Ugh...few people irritate me like she does. The head tilt, CONSTANTLY talking with fake concern, “I didn’t hear”...

Raese in West Virginia, O’Donnell in Delaware, and even *gag* Kirk in Illinois are important because they’ll be seated immediately and thus able to help fend off the liberals in the lame deck session.

Help get rid of admitted wife-beater and Pelosi tool Charlie Wilson in Ohio's Sixth District. His opponent, Bill Johnson, has turned a Democrat "lock" into a toss-up. Bill is a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel and entrepreneur, and he has closed the gap with Wilson so quickly that the DCCC was forced to buy ad time in his district.

Ohio Six is a cheap media market, so every dollar has a big impact. Send Bill some money!

Based on two criteria only, you may want to give to Sharron Angle and Rubio. However, they both have raised a lot of money already. You might want to add another critical criteria:

3) The candidate does not have huge war chest.

I'd suggest Miller (AK), Paul (KY), Raese (WV) and Buck (CO) for senate.

For House: Duffy (WI), Kelly (AZ-8), Pantano (NC-7), Bielat (MA-4) and Perry (MA-10).

I suggest you look at Key House Races for a list of competitive races.

Definitely Toomey in PA. Despite the O’Donnell campaign’s protestations, she has raised more money per swing voter than any other candidate and has nothing to show for it. Toomey is a solid conservative and is neck and neck with his opponent, not double digits behind. He is the best bang for your buck. Tea Party candidate Joe Miller in Alaska who is neck and neck with write-in RINO Murkowski is in another race where every dollar could make the difference.

Ryan Frazier at http://www.frazierforcolorado.com in Colorado’s 7th CD. He’s up against hyperliberal Ed Perlmutter, latest poll had Frazier at +1.

I second Fishtalk & say go with Christine O'Donnell. She has moved 12 points in the polls. She can win & a win here sends a message to everyone from Barack Obama to Karl Rove to Michael Steele and Wolf Blitzer. Nothing would be sweeter than a win here and it is doable.

O’ Donnel is not going to win and more money won’t save her.

I like Ryan Frazier against Ed Perlmutter !

I was in a few small meetings with Ryan Frazier when he worked at Raytheon.

This was about eight years ago.

I thought he was a pretty sharp and capable young man.

I hope he wins. He is a light year better than what that district has now.

Don't be surprised if he is a Colorado Senator someday.

Ron Johnson in Wisconsin - he’s a good solid conservative and businessowner who has poured a lot of his own money into a race against bigtime lefty and union cash.

Russ Feingold is riding a way of union and teacher’s union cash to smear him in the home stretch.

Also a good bet because of the two-fer effect. Ron Johnson turnout in outstate Wisconsin will aid the conservative in the Governor’s race, Scott Walker, as he works against Obama’s handpicked candidate, former congressman and current Milwaukee mayor Tom Barrett.

Agree to disagree then on where to spend your money. But don't say O'Donnell "can't" win. I've lived in DE a long time & I see what is happening here. It will be close, but she can win.

Christine on the economy

across the border in CT:
Debicella CT-4 pro-choice, struggling to raise money.
Caligiuri CT-5 Pro-life, in a dogfight.

show up in person to deliver the check since you’re in the area!

Rob Steele in Michigan going against John Dingell.
Dingell has been in the Senate for eons. He was one of the key forces behind Obamacare. Had union thugs at his Towne Hall meetings. Dingell is long overdue to be retired.
Rob Steele is a successful surgeon, non career politician. He seems like the real deal. Has a chance of beating Dingell.
