“All you have to do is ask how they lost all their guns in that boating accident.”

When I use that line it’s snark. It’s a running joke and a blatant admission that I *DO* own firearms. Several, in fact. Anyone using that line is also admitting that they own firearms, just in a snarky way.

Of course, sometimes it’s better not to admit to certain facts. It’s called op-sec. So I understand people who don’t want to admit that they own firearms. That’s not necessarily cowardice. It can be attempt to make sure they have a better chance of still having their firearms if the SHTF. They want to avoid de-facto registration of their guns that could occur if some gov’t bureaucrat decided to compile a list of, say, Freepers who admitted to owning guns. Or do you think not wanting to be on a government list of gun owners is cowardly? If so, how is that different from gov’t gun registration?

I also own several knives and swords. Nice thing about blades: They can be VERY effective at close range, and they cannot run out of ammo. (What do you call a rifle without ammo? A hard to swing club.)

I have learned how to use all of the above and practice regularly.

If you think any of that makes me a coward, well, fine. Anyone who comes to take any of my firearms or blades away from me will find out otherwise.

Surprised this story came out in WaPo, they and most of the enemedia have ignored it. Really happy to see it come out now, maybe the story will be picked up by others that have ignored it.

Pardon my cynical nature, but I'm wondering just WHY this article has been published now. Just what is this leading up to that will make up the democrat/administration/liberal media "October Surprise"?

At the least, this could encourage turn-out of blacks and very possibly more intimidation at the polls by those who think they can get away with it due to the color of their skin.

“There are armed men in front of a polling place, and I need to find out if they violated the law, because in my mind there’s a good chance that they did.”

I guess if they’d been white he’d have been more certain.

I don’t know but don’t think it can help them. As far as voter intimidation at the polls I think they’d be foolish to try it again, this story has been covered extensively on Fox, The Washington Times and Internet.

Plenty of older freepers who don’t have as much to lose - we can carry the honor of ‘being in their faces’... Your turn will come - there’s no hurry.

It's helpful to read the links here (other links require registration).

"Jackson, 54, and Heath, 39, have criminal histories that between them include convictions for drug possession, robbery and simple assault, according to court records."

"Simple" Assault?

There are outright rascists at the DoJ; basing prosecution on skin color.

Simple because it get’s pleaded down from attempted murder so as to not over crowd a jail? Sickening.

I’d like more details about this racist thug and the actual crimes committed before they were pleaded down.

Whatever happened to three strikes?

This article is a disgrace for many reasons, not the least of which is the incredible biased and unprofessional "reporting" of Krissha Thompson.

This YouTube video shows what has been described as harassment of voters by members of the New Black Panther Party at a Philadelphia polling place on election day 2008.

Has "been described as harassment!?"

A brief look at the rest of the piece, and then an in-depth examination of the body of Krissah Thompson's published articles shows someone who is a black racist herself.

She isn't qualified to write soup labels, much less newspaper articles. Her writing is so blatantly behind the liberal "black agenda" that she herself should be the Black Panther's publicist.

Look at her Twitter Page.

Exactly.

The clash between the black nationalist and the white lawyer has mushroomed into a fierce debate over the government's enforcement of civil rights laws, Two months after Election Day, Adams and his supervisors in the George W. Bush administration filed a voter-intimidation lawsuit against Heath and his colleagues, even though no voters had complained. This one is especially insidious: the case tapped into deep divisions within the Justice Department that persist today over whether the agency should focus on protecting historically oppressed minorities or enforce laws without regard to race. The dispute over the Panthers, and the Justice Department's handling of it, was politicized from the start, documents and interviews show. On Election Day, the issue was driven by Republican poll watchers and officials and a conservative Web site.

Krissah Thompson wrote this will anything but a critical eye. She should be working for the Obama Administration. Well......in reality.......she is!
