“Thus, the Tea partiers are obviously a racist cabal rising up to stop progress and return us to a slave state.”
Hi Darkwolf377!
Your comment reminded me of something. I work with some very liberal leaning people. They equate everything said in a conservative tone to racism. A woman responded to my Facebook comment to a “friend” that my perception of Muslims was wrong. I had stated that Juan Williams got a bum rap over his comments and that NPR was out of line to fire him. I also said that Williams vocalized what most Americans feel when they see a Muslim or even hear a Muslim sounding name. The woman jumped all over it, accusing me , politely of course, of lumping all Muslims in the same terrorist boat and that she knew a Muslim family who were so against the terrorist activities of those who share they faith. She also cited the KKK and insisted that she, as a black woman, did not consider all whites accomplices in this organization. She also said that in the days of Jim Crow laws, the KKK killed whole black families and you didn’t hear black people on TV insisting that all white people were racists. Therefore, she ( naturally reasonable, calm, and righteous) was very worried about a Republican win on Nov.2 because the racist momentum will take hold. I am wondering if this woman would take her critiques back if Bubba and his buddies hung out around the airport in their Dodge pick ups and then boarded a plane she was on in their white robes. Would she get a chill up her spine the next time she heard the roar of a truck engine? Undoubtedly she would. Because Williams reaction was visceral and so would her’s be.

“If you look across the board here, true skeptics of the Tea Party, 49 percent agreed with the proposition that blacks ought to work their way up without any special favors,” says Parker. “But if you look at the true believers, that goes to 92 percent. This is another indicator of racism, right: Over the past few years, blacks have gotten less than they deserve. Forty-five percent of true skeptics disagree with this; almost 80 percent of true believers disagree with this.”

What an incredibly jaded outlook on life. The notion that people should work for what they get is an alien concept to these dopes.

I guess they’ve never been to a public housing project...

Yes. Karl Marx was a fantasist. He made up words for things that do not exist. His terms are poetic, not scientific. Over a hundred years of Leftist academic nonsense has been directed at destroying free enterprise because these jackasses think it’s unfair. They proceed from idiotic assumptions. Smart people who believe in that the world is moved by a Marxian ex machina. The Berkeley meeting had the feel of a Marxist revival meeting. They are insane.

The hardcore left is afraid, and feeling outmaneuvered--a new experience given the fecklessness of the Right historically since Reagan. Their refuge is to intellectualize their denial, and treat the movement like a clinical phenomenon. They don't want to understand. They want to hate, and possibly kill. That's what the left is all about.

The Left arrive on the inevitable Socialist Abbatoir’s killing-floor, and suddenly realize that they’re the “whom”, as it were, in Lenin’s crystal-clear demarcation. There are no winners in socialism - just temporary survivors.

See tagline.

They do not understand basic human drives and when confronted by them, they deny that they can exist.

That, in a nutshell, is the problem with leftism. It denies human nature, and it is contrary to Biblical standards, as well.

That's why their only successful "argument" is killing people who disagree with them.

Their biggest problem is do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do hypocracy. With one cheek they work to free those who they believe are wrongfully imprisoned, with the other (as stated at the end of this article) they look for a was to imprison those who disagree with them. I can give thousands of examples of this type of behavior. Maybe the real problem is that we are not as dumb as they thought, or better still, maybe they are not as smart as they thought.

On Friday morning we file in for the conference. Just outside are giant tubs of coffee and tea, and abstracts for papers that are in progress or completed.

Prospects for an American Neofascism. Initially the project would consist of a review of recent research on American right wing groups (including the Tea Party movement, the Minutemen, and the Christian right)

The Left wants to nationalize industry, shut down the political speech of our opponents, regulate all aspects of business and private life, and rule into perpetuity. Because you're a bunch a fascists.

Ironic paper is ironic.

“Tea Party experts”...these morons treat us like they’re Jane Goodall and we’re the apes.

I was thinking more like THEY are the apes in "2001" seeing the big monolith in the savannah and having no ability whatsoever to coneive the vastly higher intelligence behind it.

Almost a year later, when Limbaugh was rushed to the hospital with chest pains, Washington Post reporter David Weigel had a wish of his own. “I hope he fails,” Weigel cracked to fellow liberal reporters on the “Journolist” email list sev.

Bingo. From National Review the other day:

“we see the common conflation of “anti-illegal-immigration” and “anti-immigrant,” the belief that welfare reform was essentially anti-black, and the reduction of concerns about Islamism to a kind of phobia. Conservatives’ ostensible reasons and supporting facts are dismissed without consideration, because it is presumed that those reasons and facts aren’t what really motivate them.”

Williams was penalized for expressing his emotional reaction. In this society, people are so quick to scream “Racist!” because that way they feel like superheroes who’ve sniffed out one of the worst kinds of people.

What that does, though, is drive underground any honest discussion of racist feelings. Note I said FEELINGS. We cannot help it if certain feelings were bred in us as children that then follow us into adulthood. Whether by parents, other adults, or friends trying to act cool and edgy, racist thoughts are pounded into us before we’re old enough to sort them out for ourselves.

In order to deal with this, people who HAVE these feelings are the FIRST ones to scream “RACIST!” about someone else—thus, they are the heroes, and of course THEY aren’t racists, they’re the ones who called someone else out on that.

What we need to do is to be honest about, again, feelings. This is what Williams basically said: I have these feelings, but we need to use our minds and tell ourselves that’s all these are, feelings, and assert our intelligence and reason them out.

When I was young I had all kinds of racist feelings, but then I learned what I just wrote above, and guess what? I wasn’t afraid of feeling them, so I didn’t squash them down. I admitted to myself I was feeling them, and then I relaxed and thought, “Just treat these people as you would anyone else, be careful around strangers but these ones are no different from ones that look just like you.”

But NPR and all the libs are full of crap when they say they want “dialogue” about race. They don’t want to have a discussion like you and I are having now, they just want to say “You can’t be racist or you’re evil, now don’t SAY anything or else.” And those minor feelings that could evaporate with logic are now pushed down, people resent being dishonest, and those feelings emerge more powerful than ever—thus, the liberals are helping perpetuate racist feelings.

Now, why might THAT be?

Exhibit A: Al Sharpton

I think you know where I’m heading, and we’ll leave it at that.

That’s awfully nice of the woman not to blame all whites because of the actions of other whites. And next time she brings up the KKK, and Jim Crow, give her all the syrupy sympathy you can. Agree with her that there were evil things happening to blacks: The KKK, lynchings, Jim Crow laws, Selma Alabama, Bull Connor, forced segregation, to name a few. And remind her, in a nice, loving way, that the people involved in the terrible treatment of blacks were STINKING RACIST DEMOCRATS!

Just struck me that they didn't have TV back in the 1920s when the KKK was at its high water mark. So no wonder your black friend never saw blacks on TV back then railing at white people. Didn't mean they weren't! Fur shur they weren't doing it on TV.

Remember, for some people history began the day they were born ~

Just another bunch of out-to-lunch radical leftists who are disappointed that Obama didn’t create American soviets right off the bat and sing The Internationale at his inauguration while he waved Mao’s little red book. A more out of touch, anti-American mob of losers you probably couldn’t find anywhere else.
