“If the weak-willed Pubbies...”

This self defeating nonsense has become commonplace on Free Republic and it is getting to be sickening.

Barone is one of the finest writers in the business. He is very objective.

The Republicans will be unable to repeal anything. Do you think Obama will sign that legislation? Also would the Republicans have the 2/3 vote to override? Again No They Won't.
The only possibility is if they vote no funding for the spending bills and budget that must originate in the House.

you didn’t understand what I was saying: Repeal and let him veto it. Repeal it again and let him veto it. Again. Meanwhile people get more pissed off. Until 2012.

Example #1: Olympia Snowe helped get Obamacare out of Committee. IT WOULD HAVE DIED THERE WITHOUT HER HELP.

We are on a path to socialism because we have no one fighting the Communists. We haved Mitch McConnell, Grassley, Cornyn, Snowe, Collins,

Some are great: Paul Ryan, Mike Pence, Jim DeMint. Unfortunately, most Pubbies are compromisers. Compromising with a COMMUNIST is subversion.

Of course we have to have some Republicans with the “Balls” to introduce and pass this in the House, now that might not be so impossible. But getting the Senate to pass this is another can of worms. My only question is can it really be done??????????
My opinion would be that it would be easier just to pass a budget and not fund this stuff, at least as a trial balloon, to see what would happen.

Agreed: Short term, de-funding is the only thing that can realistically be done. But ultimately, the law must be repealed. They need to use the process to make the case to the American people until we can get a Republican President.

Tough to get the word out though, when the enemy owns the media.

If they won every race for the Senate this year, they wouldn't have 60 votes to end debate. But the rats have to defend many more seats in the Senate in 2012 & 2014.

The only possibility is if they vote no funding for the spending bills and budget that must originate in the House.

They can start with defunding NPR. That gratuitous crack that Juan Williams needs to see a shrink reminded me of the U.S.S.R.'s abuse of psychiatry. Williams spoke honestly about what most people think about others in obvious Muslim dress.
