Military Vote in Question After DOJ Gives Illinois 'Pass' on MOVE Act, Advocacy Group Warns

Military voters from the land of Lincoln could be shut out of the midterm election after the Justice Department reached an agreement with Illinois that gave the state "a pass" for violating federal election law, an advocacy group warned Monday. The Justice Department hammered out the court agreement Friday addressing the failure of 35 Illinois counties to send military and overseas absentee ballots 45 days before the election -- a requirement of the MOVE Act.

Where is the outrage on the part of the WEAK-WILLED PUBBIES???? The WIMPY, GO-ALONG-TO-GET-ALONG, COWARDLY, UNPRINCIPLED, COMPROMISING Republicans have failed to deal with voter fraud since the 2000 elections. okay everyone - do you support our troops or not? Now’s your chance to prove it.
Once again, our soldiers, the ones who fight and die to assure WE have the privilege to vote - are being DENIED their chance to vote. THIS IS DELIBERATE, make no mistake.
this has been going on election after election. This time, there was - finally - a law passed making it illegal not to get their ballots to them in time for them to vote and get them back in time to be counted.
This is not only being ignored in several states AGAIN - but here's another state getting away with it - with the DOJ (Holder's office) giving them a pass - with NO CONSEQUENCES.
Once again, our soldiers are being prevented from voting! (I guarantee you that there would be no problem with them voting if they didn't vote mostly republican.)
NOW - What can we do?
We can make sure we and every member of our family, every one we know - come hell or high water - VOTE. Have a ‘voting party - a voting lunch -whatever - to meet up and go vote then have lunch or some such gathering...
I'M calling for a VOTE FOR OUR TROOPS! drive on 2 Nov.
(and then make sure the next congress puts REAL penalties, even jail time, for anyone who interferes ever again with the military vote.) ENOUGH. email to everyone. Put on all forums - all military blogs/links

The 112th Congress House of Representatives [dominated by Republicans] needs to investigate DOJ and the states failing to comply...

It is unacceptable that people may die for their country but not be allowed to vote...
