Why I Won't Ever Vote Early
10-29-10 | Self

Voting early...good idea, but we've come to find out the counters, the vote "keepers, storers" the voting machine mechanics/technicians, are more and more SEIU union folks. Call me crazy, but if we vote early, like let's say, 25% of us, and the Left knows this, what is keeping them from "voter registration drives" -in droves, no less- ginning up exactly the number of votes needed to defeat us at every poll?

Also, voting early will be analyzed by the Left, info passed on to Obama, who likely during Nov. 2nd/3rd, be calling out Eric Holder to declare some state elections problematic...he used some word I can't think of at the moment, like, "challenge the vote".

That's why I will never vote early.

Right - But I wasn’t sure if I was going to be deployed that day or not - So I voted early just in case.

Electronic voting machines are just made for fraud.
They are nothing but rigged slot machines and the “House” always wins..................

Isn't that what they're already trying to do?

All of the changes in the way we vote were initiated by dems for the exact reason that they make cheating easier.

People don’t need to vote weeks before an election. The campaigns are not over.

When I was in the Marine Corps I voted absentee and then it ended up that I was home on leave on election day anyway.
Maybe I should vot early just in case I die before election day.

I agree. I do not trust THEM to not steal the election, already. Then to have my ballot go through the mail, handled by union folks. Then it is counted early as well? Can we drop early-mail ballots at the polls?

I agree with your reasoning. Early voting gives the dims too much time to marshal their resources if they see that the trend is against them. Let’s just surprise them on election day.

Actually going to the polls on Election Day is a noble rite of citizenship. It also builds up one’s local community, to see one’s neighbors engage in fulfilling their role as citizens of one’s locality, State, and Country.

No one should vote early, or by absentee ballot, unless one absolutely cannot be at the polls (e.g., sickness, military deployment, being out of town on a work assignment). Inconvenience is no excuse.

If one’s presence at the polls helps thwart voting fraud, so much the better!!!!

So far early voters have found that glitch’s in voting machines always support Democrats. Would you rather find that out now so it can be fixed or wait until election day?

I realize that this is a bit O.T...but I remember being Voting Officer aboard ship in the Navy years ago. Our goal was 100% participation and we actually got like 90%. It was a real effort to get the absentee ballots from all the different states. Later I found out that most states don’t even count those ballots unless it’s an extrememly tight race. I was pretty irritated to learn that - hope it’s no longer the case.

One thing not being reported much is the activity of the Tea Party as poll watchers ... trained and watching. Our group will have representatives at the polls during the process. But who watches the absentee votes ... that worries me.

I agree with you, as I was a “voting officer” in the AF.

But practically speaking, if the number of absentee ballots are less than the margin of victory in any of the contests, officials should be able to go ahead and announce the winners.

That said, it seems unlikely that all the contests would have that many dominant winners — some contests would have to be quite close.

I also have been afraid to vote early. I did once because I was working at a polling place which wasn’t my own.

I vote early, they cheat....I vote late, they still cheat. There doesn’t seem to be a solution. Spouse and I like to vote early, what can I say, I don’t like the long lines.
