— President Obama’s interview with Jon Stewart was “a success,” Gibbs declared, insisting that the White House didn’t expect “a bunch of softball questions.” On the ride back, Obama told Gibbs and David Axelrod that “he thought it was a good opportunity to walk through what he’s done,” Gibbs said.

Reminds me of an old 70s movie. A yuppie couple threw a painfully terrible party. The man (I think it was Richard Benjamin) told his wife, "Well, I think the omelettes were a success."
Funny, I thought that was Gibbs JOB.

I am quite sure that if he were a fading actor, then surely Obama’s appearance was a success, but as a president, the success lies in the success of his policies.
Let’s hope he does more successful appearances like that one.

Obama is a true idiot. He has the mind of, I’m guessing around an average to below average 15 year old child.
This is not a kneejerk insult. I say this as a real clinical opinion. And everyday, everything he says and everything he does only confirms the diagnosis.

I submit that the guy is mentally retarded or he is deranged.
The jury is still out on which is worse but the consensus is that either choice is very, very bad for the country.

I always said Obama didn't care if he was elected president, or became chief jester in a court. He just wants attention and to feel important. It has nothing to do with the job or the importance of being a good leader. It is all about getting applause and adoration for the narcissist-in-chief. The man is truly, emotionally dysfunctional and sick, sick, sick.
Without all this type of planned attention on these shows he would fade into oblivian. So his supporters have to get him out therre to get something that will boost his spirit. The best they can do are the stupid shows that really show how unimportant and insignificant he is when the hosts can think they can easily call him "dude" and get away with it because he does not deserve the respect a strong leader and honorable president would deserve. How he can feel happy about that appearance just shows how desperate he is for attention.
