If Democrats lose control of the House of Representatives next week, as most political observers expect, there is a good chance that the House Speaker will opt to spend time with her eight grandchildren rather than toil in the relative obscurity of the minority. How sad she didn’t put her grandchildren ahead of her political ambitions 2 years ago... I’m sure she’s a swell grandma, so we and her grandchildren all have been the losers in this short-sighted decision. Think about it: but for Pelosi, Obama might actually have heeded Rahm’s advice to abandon radical health reform in favor of compromising with Republicans on this issue.
And spending more time with her granddaughters...lol
