Heath Shuler is blowing smoke. There is no way he can win Minority Leader. If he runs (assuming that he even wins reelection), he will lose. When push comes to shove, he will even vote for Pelosi.

I still think Pelosi will stay for another term.

Van Hollen is obviously out. Per the Time article, Miller is probably out too. As I’ve said before, Dems are big on tokenism. I can’t see the Dems having two white men in the top three slots of the leadership. If Pelosi is out, so is Hoyer. My first guess is that Pelosi stays on and Hoyer is out. My second guess is Clyburn moves up to Leader and Larson might get Whip, with Becerra and DeLauro Chairman and Vice Chairman.
