Voinovich: Congress must find agreement on key issues (RINO ALERT)
CNN ^ | 2010-10-25 | Peter Hamby

Columbus, Ohio (CNN) - Retiring Sen. George Voinovich, R-Ohio, said Monday that the upcoming lame duck session of Congress should work together on a handful of key issues to demonstrate a commitment to problem-solving rather than partisan bickering.

(snip)

He suggested that in the lame duck session, the 18-member bipartisan debt commission should endorse recommendations to help repair the country's deep budget deficit. He called on lawmakers to listen to the commission and have "the courage to move forward and do the tough things that need to be done for our country."

(snip)

"Once we are elected we ought to come together and find out those things we agree on and not concentrate on those things that we disagreeing on," he said. "My position has always been if the president has something that I think is in the best interest of the country, we should come together. It doesn't make any difference whether he gets credit for it or not. The American people want us to work together."

Voiceinabitch needs to GTH out if town, and shut his pie hole.

He and his elitist prig colleagues had better start ramping up ther retirement plans. By 2014 we will be getting rid of the rest of the RINO has beens like him.

COMPROMISE ,on the abandonment of American excetionalism, compromise on a 14 Trillon dollar deficit just because a bunch of Liberal Fascists borrowed our freedom into a hole?
The left started this demographic warfare, and we are now in the battle to win it. That can NOT be forgotten.

However, Voiceinabitch, but for his infamy, can and will be forgotten.

We want jobs, and the repeal of Obama Death Care.If we do not get these, there won’t be much government. No one will obey it.

I think it was Rush that said last week we are just getting started.

He estimates it will take five or 6 elections to get enough conservatives in to get the job done. We have to fight the Marxists and the rinos,it won't happen over night.

If they share the same view then their turn will come for them to be looking for work. The RINO-RAT love fest is over.

A lot of our representatives still don’t get it. I think we will need a few more rounds of housecleaning if we are successful Nov 2.

Retiring Sen. George Voinovich, R-Ohio, said Monday that the upcoming lame duck session of Congress should work together on a handful of key issues to demonstrate a commitment to problem-solving rather than partisan bickering.

Voinovich is right, but only to the extent that we should work with Obama's side when they want to do the right thing despite their ideology. We should work with them in cutting wasteful spending. We should work with them in funding our troops to win the war on terror and protect our country. We should work with them on cutting taxes and allowing our fellow Americans to keep more of their own money.

However, to the extent that they want us to split the difference and only nationalize half of private industry instead of everything, only gut half of our constitutional rights instead of all, or only fund the murder of a half million unborn children each year instead of a full million, we must not yield to vacuous calls for "bipartisanship". Bipartisanship should mean supporting those portions of the agenda that both parties support, not us giving the far left wing of Obama's party half of what they demand this year and half of what is left next year until they achieve their goal of absolute power.

I don’t think just getting along is an option with our known and proven enemies, What do you think?>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Ridicule, revile and discredit them , including RINOs.We will get along fine as long as the leftists do what they are told by the people.

No more of this elitist double talk about getting along. THE DEMS LOCKED OUT THE REPUBLICAN CAUCUS FROM LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE ON THE HEALTH CARE BILL!!!! The Dems voted yea on it without even having read it????? And now we are supposed to get along after that BILL shows a process/penalty confiscation of wealth, seizable by the IRS????

EFF THEM EVERY SINGLE ONE!!! WHAT IN OLD TARNATION DO THESE EFFING RINO IDIOTS THINK THEY ARE ?????????????????????

I SPIT ON THEM ALL!!!!!

AND IT NEEDS TO BE MANDATED THAT ALL Members of Congress get EXACTLY the same health care as the people, if the health care bill is NOT repealed.

THATS WHERE WE START. Thats the first bill we pass.

He's exactly the kind of RINO that almost destroyed the Republican Party.

Get lost and good riddance!

Before they cut social security, take the fraud out of every department of the government,

example,

in 1992 an audit was done of the department of education they could not account for 70% of its budget.

Also in the same year, they did an audit of the IRS and they could not account for 66% of it’s budget.

United Nations, World Bank, WTO, IMF, and all other foreign aide.

Let me get this straight: A mugging victim should negotiate with the mugger to determine how many times you get whacked over the head the next time you get mugged.

Idiot RINO.

Voinovich is a dullwitted seventies' politician whose time has come and long gone. He has no clue and should have retired six years ago at the latest. About the only thing that can be said for him is that he seems to have been honest.

This is the whole republican problem in a nutshell--"we should work with them"--

No. They should work with us.

Boehner, or someone, should be telling Obama and the 'rats right now, that if the People give us the majority in The Peoples' House of Representatives, we expect the democrats to cooperate with us and put politics aside, that the country can not afford a president so stubborn as to bog down essential business of the country. Period.
