Wow, Maher might do some worthwhile things in his life yet. And anyone who will speak out on this has at least one big category of respect from me. Damned few will speak out, and far more need to start.

Maher also understands that those of his ilk are likely to be the first targeted by Islam and Sharia Law for silencing (or worse).

Like Mark Steyn says, worse comes to worse, “we” can decide that if we can’t beat ‘em, we can join ‘em: grow out our beards, take an extra wife, etc., etc. But for liberals...what are they to do? What do you do if you’re gay, or lesbian, or promiscuous, or a feminist? An Islamic future means their annihilation.
For the liberal, it’s easier to scream and get outraged and walk off television shows than to think about what an Islamic future will mean for them.
