Israeli sources on Monday confirmed that the US proposed that Israel lease parts of the Jordan Valley from the Palestinians for an additional seven years, Army Radio reported.
According to the Monday report, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu agreed to the idea, but demanded that the arrangement be for a longer period of time than the original offer. "Seven years is not enough - an arrangement like this needs to last for dozens of years," Netanyahu said in closed talks, according to Army Radio.

A senior minister said that "anything less than a 99-year lease is not worth talking about," according to the report.
Habayit Hayehudi head Daniel Herschkowitz dismissed the idea, even if it is for 99 years, Army Radio reported. He said, "If we agree to the offer, we will be broadcasting to the Palestinians that the land is actually theirs." Adding, "I'm not the only one who thinks this way."

If its theirs, give it back now.

This kind of agreement would be a cyanide pill. Anyone trying to force Israel to take it has shown their hand. Anyone within Israel who favors it has also shown theirs. The only thing I could see would be to slow-walk a conversation hoping O will be pushed out of office 24 months from now, but even at that its a mistake. Look to God and stand firm.

That's right. Thank you for your reply, because it prompted me to look back at verse 16. And something leaped out. The English says "another stick", but the Hebrew says "one". This may seem insignificant, but it took a couple seconds to see this because אחד looks so much like אחר. Thus it reminded me of the enlarged letter "witness" of the Shema - the ayin and the dalet. The dalet... magnified... no confusion that it might be a resh and thus mistakenly be read אחר "another" [god]. Thought that was interesting.
Something I noticed the other day, is that a head (leader) of "the stick" also has the same sum total as "head of the peoples" and "head of the money", but for some reason I missed the obvious, and fixated on עץ as a tree or gallows (i.e. the work of Haman). Also in the case of a family tree, the head is the root/base/foundation.

The peace treaty isn’t between America and Israel, the peace treaty isn’t between Europe and Israel ... it’s between Muslim nations and Israel . The scriptures tell us who those nations are , they are the nations the “Messiah” destroys at his return and all those nations are “muslim” ,none of which are in Europe .
That 7 year agreement cannot happen until after the battle of Ezek 38-39. Iran, Russia, Syria, Turkey and other Middle East nations will attack Israel and will be defeated then the 7 year peace treaty.
