President Obama will hold a press conference Wednesday to offer his response to the mid-term election. The news conference, announced Tuesday morning, shows the White House does not intend for the dust to settle from Tuesday's midterms before trying to define the narrative for the next Congress. Polls show Democrats face an avalanche of losses, with Republicans poised to take back the House and make significant gains in the Senate. Obama will speak to the press early Wednesday afternoon. This is rich. Mr. "I won", who couldn't care less about working with the GOP a couple of years ago, is now trying to put out the olive branch...sort of. We'll see how things turn out tonight, but he may have little or no say in how this country is governed if it is a really bad night for the Dems.
