Thanks Karl Rove. Thanks Mike Castle. Thanks GOP elites. Conservative Christine O’Donnell carried the tea party voters. She bested the bearded Marxist with independents. But, she did not carry enough REPUBLICANS to win in Delaware tonight. What an absolute shame.

I think one can conclude that much of what this election is intended to do, is to show, who’s who in the GOP. Northeast Republicans are really the Country Club Republican Elites... let us say how glad we are that O’Donnell ran, and lost, because the Elitist Republicans threw their weight to the Commie Dem... We’ll get those bastards yet! The Tea Party has only just begun!!!

I think we all agree that Steele has to go, and go now. But who to take his place?

Right, the blame lies with the RINOs not O’Donnell as you suggested.

Which is why we should NEVER forget the Republicans and Conservatives that treated her worse than they have ever treated a communist liberal Democrat

I agree. Along with those on FR who wanted to dance on her grave tonight. Conservatives support conservative candidates. Period.

...she did not carry enough REPUBLICANS to win in Delaware tonight. What an absolute shame.

It's an absolute travesty. When the GOP attempts to foist a RINO upon us as "their" 2012 Presidential candidate, the real fur is going to fly. Rove, Gingrich, Romney, et al likely working on it as we watch the election results tonight. Michael Steele needs to be replaced - big-time!

Not so fast, Michael Steele

Right now, there is only one announced candidate for RNC chairman: former North Dakota GOP head Gary Emineth. (Your Emineth!) Michael Steele, the current chair, seems keen on building his re-election campaign off of tomorrow's anticipated successes, but that worries quite a few RNC members, and Emineth wants to remind them that there are other people who deserve credit for the election. In an e-mail to RNC members today, he urges them to "keep your powder dry" as the party's next leaders must "consider the implications" of the Tea Party insurgency. Also, he thinks Americans deserve credit for kicking out the Democrats: "

There is a God in heaven who has ways of frustrating the machinations of the elites. May He speedily “confound their politics, frustrate their knavish tricks.”

Christine is great. I won’t believe that Christine really lost until I see every ballot for myself.

She did great.

Among the forces allied against her.
1.Democrat cheating and voter fraud.
2. The entire mainstream media against Christine in a little state like Delaware.
3. African Americans are at least 20% of the population and they vote at least 90% for democrats. Now you see why democrats want to create another even larger voting block the illegals. This is not about race but statistics. How can anyone win giving up 20% of the votes from the start?
4. Unions, the DNC etc.
5. No GOP support.
6. Illegals
Many more

That she did this good is amazing. It ain’t over till it’s over.

Now that Odonell lost, Sean Hannity will have Rove on and ask him questions. But prior to today, Hannity would avoid this race whenever Rove was on the show. Whimp!

Reporting Voter Fraud

The Republican Party has set up a National Hotline, which will be staffed with Attorneys to handle polling issues as well as possible voter fraud or intimidation.
1 - 888 - 775 - 8117. IF you even SUSPECT this is happening, PLEASE call for their free advice.

Thanks for that. I've been saying the same thing on O'D threads all over FR tonight, and have been feeling awfully alone, well alone with the truth.

Did Gore give up 2 hours after the polls closed? No. Did Franken? No. Neither should Christine. She WON in Kent and Sussex. New Castle should be a re-count.

"It’s not fair to blame Karl Rove."

Bull. There were plenty of issues Rove could have focused on this election cycle, but he chose to bad mouth her at every venue he was in. He never listened to her stand on the issues, as I suspect you never did either. The fact that she was able to win over the Independents with a conservative message points to the fact that she was a viable candidate save for the stick the establishment RHINOs had stuck up their butt.

I hate Rove (down on Bush too) and have no regrets that COD got the nomination or that Palin supported her, but she had one hell of a uphill climb. It would have taken a miracle for her to win this race. Time to move on. Don't kill the messenger.

Praying for Sharon Angle who really did turn things around in NV. Fire Reid,

A pox on all the O’Donnell bashers. She did BETTER than RINO nominees in other races, like Mark Kirk, and she handily won two of the three counties in Delaware. Again, she did BETTER in her race than several Republican (RINO-backed) nominees that they claimed were more electable. Like yourself, I’ll shed no tears for Mike Castle. She did us a great service by eliminating that hack.

We are getting some of the same excuses here on Free Republic why Christine O'Donnell lost as we did in 2008 when Fred Thompson lost.
One of the reasons why Fred Thompson lost was by some dirty lies and tricks of the Romney people and campaign.
Mitt Romney is a cancer to this country and the GOP.
Another reason why Fred Thompson lost was because of some supposed conservatives didn't support him.
The fake conservatives and RINOS have got to go !

If Christine O'Donnell ran such a bad campaign, then ? how come she picked up support from Independents, and her message resonated with the Tea Party and Independents ?
I tell you why she didn't get support from Republicans, because the fix was in ! in the RINO RNC establishment minds, she had to go so she won't upset the apple cart and they are going to do the same thing to Sarah Palin.
