I got a kick out of this. West won in the 2nd most expensive house race in the country. Klien had a well deserved loss after voting with Pelosi 98% of the time, and then trying to win with attack ads against West alone, among them one that released Allen Wests social security number. Klien had 4 years in the House. I've been told that 5 years is required for a pension.

Which is why the over 1 million debt of Kleins campaign on October 13 sort of struck me funny here. Anyone know who picks that up or how that works for losing candidates?

Wow. A whole five years to receive a House pension...

The icing on the cake is that Lt. Col. West not only won, but that he won big. Wasn’t his margin something like 17%?

I think it was about 8% but it was a big margin. Ran away with it. I was so glad Klien’s negative campaign didn’t work.

You are right with the 8%. I looked it up. The loser on the 17% blowout was that POS Alan Grayson. Klein is a much lesser POS.

Klein’s campaign released West’s Social Security number. So I don’t like Klein a bit either. I started the election not respecting Klein because I couldn’t find him in the district and I tried month after month to find someplace where I could meet the man. But when he released West’s SS number, I really began to personally dislike him.
