Have you posted any of this to the FR Michigan message board? It's the first I recall reading of the incidents. I have posted the Michigan ping list on this thread, and I really believe it is important for all MI freepers to know what has been going on in your congregation; if only to make us all more vigilant in our own "houses."

Another group I really like from way back then was The Second Chapter of Acts. I saw them a couple of times in small venues and they gave a really good show that was as much blessing as entertainment.

Oh, yes, and Keith Green who I think wrote (together with his wife Melody) some of the best lyrics in contemporary Christian music. I just wish he had known as much about the ground effect as he did music.

Keith Green’s music was so God honoring. Wonderful....as was The 2nd Chapter of Acts. Also loved First Call and the “old” Imperials. And can’t forget Andrus, Blackwood & Co.

I had chills when I saw your post. About 2 months ago my daughter called me. 4 middle eastern men had come late and left early from her Sunday night service. She said they made her very uncomfortable because they were talking in Arabic( she knows the language) and they were very nervous acting. She said something about them just didn’t seem right. We were wondering then if it might be a looking around session for a future attack. We live in Central Illinois. A muslim from our community had tried to blow up the state capital in Springfield,IL. Scary stuff! Time to start telling people

If this is happening in your community, aside from the recommended call to authorities, of course you need to put your church and members under constant prayer protection.

Can the churches in your area oraganize this, to have 24 hour protection by praying for each other ?

Very curious.

Similar event in our TN-area church about 3-4 years ago. One of the largest churches in TN. Young middle eastern man found wandering in back halls, asked if I could help him, acted out of sorts, then said he was trying to find the children's area. Led him there and talked to him the whole way, turned him over to a church official and found out later that he told them a completely different story.

It was a Sunday night. He was wearing a suit and tie (rarely done on Sunday nights here) and carrying a gigantic family Bible.

We were able to obtain video footage and turned over to the authorities. Presence of a middle eastern person was not suspicious, in and of itself, because our church has a very aggressive mission focus. The various authorities were alerted, but frankly, we've taken most of our own security into our own hands...

Thanks for sharing those reports. That was really my intent in posting it.

Just in case others have witnessed something really odd at their church but just brushed it off maybe a little too quickly.

If we learned anything from 9-11 (and other attacks) its that terrorists go to great pains in planning out their attacks including dry runs and scoping out their targets, for months, even years.

My prayer is that they never attempt such an attack on one of our churches. But my concern is that they will. But hopefully through God’s protection and our willingness to act (including sharing such information) they will be stopped.

If any members of your church have a concealed carry permit... have them bring their guns to church and no I am not kidding. If this is a dry run and it very well could be; Your church members will be dead before the “authorities” arrive and finally decide to act AFTER the Muslims have killed your people.

Who cares if the “authorities” deem it illegal to carry even if one has a valid permit... lives may be at stake and American citizens have a Constitutional right to protect themselves.

Not with IMAM Obamessiah in power... the blood of 3,000 already stains Ground Zero and IMAMA Obama wants the Victory Mosque build on their blood and bones. The blood of Christians, children and church attenders could flow in the streets as a result of an attack by Muslims and Islam here in America and IMAM Obama would continue to side with Islam and Muslims over America and her citizens because HE IS NOT ONE OF US. He and Michael hate America, and all that we stand for. Besides he has already told us that America and Americans can easily "absorb another attack!" This evil man is dispicable.
