Amen! All they are concerned about is catching the person who did the dirty deed AFTER the blood has already been shed and the deed is done.

Thanks Jmouse007!

All FReepers: This is probably the most valuable video you will ever see. We are on the brink of collapse. Next Thursday is the day most likely to trigger the events that will end in the end of the United States as we know it.

Watch the video. Do what you can to prepare. Pray!

I suggest anyone living in Michigan check the law.

I live in Michigan and I checked the law. You may carry at church at the church leadership's discretion. I say leadership rather than the minister because at some churches (like mine) the minister serves at the pleasure of the elders. He doesn't have the authority to make a decision like that. The law takes that into account.

...but the Church does better when it is on the offensive Spiritually.

What exactly does that look like in the practical sense?

And bear in mind, all those "muslim" countries USED to be Christian...

The problem with your idea is that once you get a CCW permit, you may not carry in a church or place of worship. Without a CCW one may openly carry anywhere in Michigan, it’s the law.

I attend one of the largest churches in the area in Grand Haven and have many christian friends here, I haven’t heard of this in our area.

Is it illegal to go to church armed?

Would have replied sooner but had a very busy week and did not have any computer time until now.

We also listen to The Second Chapter of Acts (wife's favorite group from back then), Keith Green, Degarmo & Key, and Daniel Band on regular occasions...and my kids are the ones that normally pick my “old stuff” to listen to...we do have around 100 LP’s, and 400+ cassettes to choice from...might even be a few 8-tracks still floating around.

I don't think that somebody could answer the question of “What exactly does that look like in the practical sense?”, since my living out Scripture in my life/environment might “look” different then somebody else living out Scripture in their life/environment. That being said, I do think Jesus gives use directions in His Word...

Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus said unto him, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”

Matthew 5:43-48 “Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

God bless

it depends — if your church is orthodox (Oriental, Assyrian, Catholic, Orthodox) or of orthodox practise (Lutherans, traditional Anglicans), then the Moslems will actively target you. Also, any Presbyterian group. However, they do not target Pentecostalism outside Islamic countries (IN Islamic countries where Pentecostals spread the gospel, that’s a different matter!).

If you’re in a Catholic church I suspect they were Chaldeans looking for a place to worship with their families.......
