House Democrats "didn't get the message" from last Tuesday's election if they re-elect Nancy Pelosi as Democratic Party leader next year, the expected No. 2 Republican in the House said Sunday.

Rep. Eric Cantor, R-Va., told "Fox News Sunday" that Pelosi's decision to run as the party's No. 1 suggests Democrats aren't listening to voters who rejected the Obama administration's agenda.

“This is a good thing!”

I agree. Plus, c’mon Cantor, you’ve got to admit it will be fun to give Nancy a taste of her own medicine.

Pelosi staying shows Dems are clueless.

Dem's anointing Pelosi Speaker in the first place makes them clueless.

They...just...can't...help...themselves...

It's like a drug to them.

They are afraid of being "clued".

Liberals/Progressives live in fantasy land - they still think if they ignore something long enough, it will go away.

They probably also still believe that if they put their own hands over their own eyes, that WE can't see them.

Nancy Pelosi is just such a self-delusional person. She was still celebrating a win for the democrats on election night.

The doctor who treats himself has a fool for a patient; the layman who represents himself in court, has a fool for a lawyer; the politician who advises himself has a fool for an advisor.

Leftists live in hall of mirrors, everything is distorted into the vision they want to see. Like a fat lady looking into a convex mirror, they see just the image they want to see and nothing else.

The downside is, they make decisions on OUR lives based on their own distorted visions. Usually those visions are hate-envy based and they proceed to spread the misery.

That's why "hope and change" played so big among the democrats...their whole existence is based on those two things, and obama knew that.

"Hope" is an excuse for doing nothing; sitting on the front porch swatting flies, and hoping to win the lottery is an excuse for not trying to earn the money.

And "change"? Well it's a hallmark amongst the immature; adolescents get bored very easily, because they have nothing much to do or think about.

Conservatives - on the other hand - study hard, get jobs, raise families and they have a lot to do and think about...that's why many of us don't want the constant change, especially as we get older.

They say a liberal is really a conservative who hasn't been mugged yet...well there is some truth in that, as a good attitude adjustment usually causes your perspective to come into focus.

The truth about "refining the messages" is, it's just a futile exercise in thinking up a new slogan, or lie. The trouble with it is, we're all awake now, and we're looking at what politicians are doing, and not listening so much to what they say.

We're not letting up, no matter how many alinskyisms they throw at us. Like "wikileaks", we know their basic battle plan, and it just isn't working any more...not even their beloved race card.

Insofar as Cruella DeVille Pelosi staying leader, it's good. It's reverse-Alinsky...we have something to isolate, polarize, and use as the "face" [read: Botox recepticle] of the democrat party.

San Fran Nan - the democrats mascot.

The greatest issue to our sovereign nation is the mockery of our free system that has been allowed by the present representation elected to represent "we the people".

We are fed up and the reign of careless representation has come to an end.

Be warned republicans, you WILL be held to a higher standard of leadership.

It damn well had better be conservative in nature!

So what’s the problem?

Her emasculation and removal is more satisfying, politically, for one thing.

Theres always a finite possibility she will be resuurected 2 , 4 or 6 years down the line. I dont want to see that. Better she be gone, gone, gone.

Agreed. Pelosi staying shows Dems are clueless.

No, it shows that they are Leninists.

Leninists do not take notice of elections, they do not regard the results as legitimate because of "false consciousness", in fact, they regard minority status as a sign that their superior wisdom and ability is not recognized by bitter clingers who need (or whose children need) re-education.

They are more dangerous than ever.

Cantor needs to stop worrying about inside the beltway garbage.

Start defunding the agencies and programs that are crippling the economy. Who cares who leads the clowns on the other side of the aisle.

(If you want to do inside the beltway stuff, bring back smoking inside the House chamber. That will chase the anti-smoking zealots like the Nancy-Witch out of the chamber—and you might find the President more amenable to discussing your policies.)

"Her....removal is more satisfying politically, for one thing. There's always a finite possibility she will be resurrected 2, 4 or 6 years down the line."

A sharp wooden stake made out of that oversize gavel she wielded in that arrogant march through the crowd would take care of this possibility rather nicely.

The Democrat party does not care what the productive American voters think. Their strength is in the unholy alliance of the public sector bureaucrats and entitlement voters.

It’s okay, 2012 may just take care of that. Perhaps it’s better for us they haven’t gotten it. And if the repubs on our side don’t still don’t get it by then, we’ll boot their country-club elitist asses out along with the rest of the jokers.
