Pelosi move is a sign that Democrats intend to fight the GOP, not cut deals

Speaker Nancy Pelosi's aim to remain the leader of House Democrats is an indication the party is ready to go to war with Republicans in the next Congress, not cut deals across the aisle.

The California Democrat is a radioactive figure in many districts across the country, where Republicans parlayed her unpopularity to pick up seats in Tuesday's landslide elections. But she's also a master at energizing the Democratic base, and her liberal resolve, some Democrats say, will draw much sharper distinctions between the two parties than that of more conservative members who might otherwise assume the leadership spot.

"The lesson [of the elections] is not to back down from a fight," Rep. Steve Israel (D-N.Y.) said in a statement. "The lesson learned is we need to fight harder for real, fundamental change for the middle-class. And no one fights harder than Nancy Pelosi."

Put another way: "She's in a better position to throw the bombs back at Republicans," a former House Democratic aide said tersely. "I mean, who's the better person to make John Boehner look crazy? It's Pelosi."

Before Friday's surprise announcement that Pelosi will run for minority leader, Rep. Steny Hoyer, the current No. 2, was widely seen as heir apparent to head the party. The Maryland Democrat is known, in the words of one Democratic strategist, as "a dealmaker, a tactician" — someone who "makes the trains run on time."

We are living in times when lines are being drawn between good and evil, and make no mistake about it, evil has found its way deeply into American politics, but especially into the Democrat Party, the party of sexual perversion, feminism, abortion, and unlawfulness in general, (such as blatantly ignoring federal immigration laws and raising votes through every illegal means they can concieve of). Not that the Republican Party represents God or His moral teachings, but since they do value morality far more than the Dems do, I look for a major political WAR on social and moral issues coming soon to each and every state. I am completely convinced these are 'those' times we're living in. The bogus theology of "gray area", (where things are not necessarily good or bad), which the liberals have been trying to propagate for two generations now is fading fast. It's all boiling down to right or wrong, good or evil, and people are makng their choices.

I have no problem if no appropriations can move forward because the Dims refuse to go along with what the pubbies put forward.

Unlike the Senate Majority Leader,the Speaker is the Dictator of the House.
Nancy treated the GOP minority like scum and if the new GOP majority doesn't pay her back in kind the Tea Party will not only be justifiably outraged but we will be taking names for 2012.

I say that the GOP makes several attempts to repeal Obamacare. After that is vetoed, a few months prior to the 2012 election put forth a bill that to adds all government employees including Congress and the President to the government health care plan without distinction from the huddled masses. That should prove once and for all who is for the people and who is for the elite.

We are in a spiritual crisis on our planet because the dark hearts are ruling the world. They are the ones who are only able to see the world through the eyes of personal gain, without concern for the whole of humanity. The dark hearts are empty vessels that need to be filled with outside energy, power and material wealth. They are truly godless beings because they have closed off all access to the God force, or to the light of God/Goddess/Spirit or whatever you are comfortable calling it. Even some who are atheist still draw light from nature or the universe in some way, and don’t need to extract it from human souls. But the dark hearts feed off of human souls. They feed until they have depleted or exhausted their source and then they discard the worn out source for a fresh one.
