Okay they want Sharia law give it to them - you steal and your right hand is cut off. (the left hand is only used to wipe your butt with in muslim countries). You get caught lusting after another man’;s wife and the right eye is gauged out. They want Sharia Law give it to them go to the extremes of the law an eye for eye a tooth for a tooth. your ox gores your neighbor you should be put to death. wonder if the guy under Sharia Law rapes someone what would they say when he walk around with no penis. Lets put the Saharia Law into effect for the Muslims and put the dire consequences only for muslim adherents. you know how long this would last One time and the liberals would be screaming that is old testament biblical law and it is inhumane.

Islam is sharia and sharia is Islam.
Federal judges are appointed for life. Impeachment is nearly impossible and has only been successful in a small number of cases.
This will most likely be argued under the Freedom of Religion granted by the 1st Amendment.

It cannot legally be prevented. Stopping the board is a violation of state law.
This judge is another poster-girl for impeachment.
It is way past time to use our Constitution as the Framers intended. Impeachment is to used for political as well as criminal offenses.
The next constitutional amendment they need is one that sends judges to jail when they stick there noises where they don’t belong.

I would say it needs to be looked at in the light of what the government did to the Mormons in the 1800s by telling them they couldn’t practice polygamy. If that was legal then banning sharia is legal.

No - and I concur with post #114, also answering your question: Sharia is intended to set up a competing legal system independent of our Constitutional system — all the way down to the state/local levels. Not only that, but one could successfully argue, IMHO, that a government endorsement of Sharia for Islamic peoples is tantamout to the establishment of a religion — clearly in violation of Amendment 1.
Because of both these reasons, this judge’s ruling should be vigorously appealed, and she should be impeached for blatantly failing to abide by her oath.
Those who advocate sharia are at war with the United States and its most important fundamental principles.
This judge has come down on the side of the aggressors, and against the defenders of the very oath she took when she was seated on the bench.
