Those geniuses who think a Sen. Elect Castle would be different, please speak up.

I'm glad Kirk won just to rub it in the Dems noses that they lost 0's seat, and since the guy he was running against was a mob-connected thief we didn't lose anything by him winning the general, but only a damn fool would think Kirk was one of us.

“Murkowski voted no last time, why would she vote yes now?”
Because she’s mean.

On the positive side, Kirk has said no DREAM Act, no comprehensive immigration reform until the borders are secure.
Reid will be pushing this in the lame duck session, and is close to having enough votes to pass this.
Pryor is the only Dem not on board.
With Kirk seated, Reid may be stopped.
Manchin is also a wild card on this issue.

Rep. Kirk (my congressman) is more liberal than many Democrats. According to www.vote-smart.org, these are some of Rep. Kirk’s latest interest group ratings: Planned Parenthood, 100%; AFL-CIO, 48%: ACLU, 45%; NAACP, 44%; NEA, B; Americans for Democratic Action, 35%; Gun Owners of America, F-; ACU, 58%.; and John Birch Society, 33%. Each of these ratings is for the latest year that is available, usually 2010 or 09. None of them is a lifetime rating.

He’ll replace Burris completing the last month or so of Obama’s term, then he’ll have six years of his own.
A while back I came to the conclusion that, no matter who won this race, Illinois was going to sending another dumb-ass to Washington.

No, he just won; so now we have to put up with him until 2016.

As expected...Mark Kirk (DIABLO-Illinois).

Murkowski can’t be trusted ~ she’s clearly mentally deranged.

Is this why I read rumors of the GOP courting Manchin?

You’d think after all the time we’ve spent educating FReepers on Kirk they’d be a little more swift than that... but then we have idiots posting DENYING the very existence of the IL Combine. Way too many fools and trolls hanging out here.

This is designed to chill free speech. Nothing more, nothing less. We have to hold the line here and not allow a vote.

Courting Manchin is crazy (nevermind looking at the guy he appointed to the Senate vacancy, a hard-line left-winger). He could be facing a criminal indictment in short order, and that’s all we need is to have him switch parties and then be convicted. Almost as insane as making a martyr of Kirk over not being seated, when he is a puppet of Zero’s Criminal Machine in Illinois.

Heh... an Illinois politician voting for campaign finance transparency... yeah, that’ll work...
Thanks Justaham.

I hope that this means that Kirk will vote for that ridiculous, unconstitutional bill next year (when it wouldn’t have a prayer of passing), not during the lame-duck session (Kirk promised that he would be a firm NO vote on anything controversial during the lame-duck session).

If Mark and Murky really going to do this, then Speaker Boehner should immediately convene a tribunal in the House to determine all foreign sources of Bobo's $750B that he grifted in 2008. And the Speaker should openly communicate his intent to subpoena the President.
To: Justaham
But we should have helped elect Castle to buddy up with him? LOL
