'Senior Moment' Only Explanation For Bill Gates Sr.'s Strange Hit-And-Run

Recently obtained police reports document a hit-and-run collision involving community leader Bill Gates Sr.

The Seattle Police Department investigation reports show the father of one of the richest men in the world wasn’t there the night of Aug. 16, when investigators found his car near Seattle Center, wedged against the car in front of it -- with the engine running and keys still in the ignition.

The owners of the other car involved in the incident called 911 when they realized their car couldn’t move because Gates’ 2003 Mercedes 500 was wedged against their car.

They told dispatchers: "Somebody has crashed into the back of our car, and their vehicle is still running, and there is nobody anywhere near it." Operator: "What street are you on?" Answer: "Third and Mercer." Operator: "And no injuries that you can tell?" Answer: "No, there’s nobody here."

The collision report indicates that police came out, investigated, had Gates’ car towed away and sent the family on their way. The report also notes that Gates’ car was parked illegally in an area marked "Tow away zone, no stops."

A short time after officers left the scene, they were advised that Gates and someone listed as a friend or companion had returned to find his car was gone. The officer documented that the Gates didn’t realize his vehicle was in a tow zone or was pressed against the other car. After the officers explained the damage, saying both vehicles had deep scrape marks and slight cracking, Gates' companion/friend advised that Gates may have had a "senior moment and didn’t think he was close to the other vehicle."

The officer at the scene wrote Gates a citation for a hit-and-run accident, an offense that carries a maximum sentence of a year in jail...

does that also explain the stupid tax increase proposal he placed on the ballot?

No...that was due to his 'I'm better than you, I'm smarter than you, I'm richer than you moment'

This reminds me of my first realization of liberalism and the differences in thinking

My physics teacher was explaning acceleration and velocity and described how a vehicle making a turn loses control on the road

Or - “if you have money” it’s called “failed to negotiate the curve”

This is the Bozo who doesn't understand the difference between income and equity.

You don't pay income taxes on equity, so the really, really, really rich people like Bill Gates, Jr. and Warren Buffet aren't much affected by the exorbitant income taxes they want us to pay, while pretending they are subject to them, too.

Probably steals batteries and cries "I'm an old man. I'm confused! I thought I paid for it. What's my name? Will you take me home?" if he gets caught.

The actual charge was leaving the scene of an accident until he sobered up. Ted Kennedy is responsible for this newest addition to the penal code.

“Mr. Gates need no protection. The NW is not like that. The only protection that is needed there is from the socialist idiots...”

That was just plain stupid. Billionaires do not roam around without protection and there are no crooks but lefties? Get off it. The old man is in danger roaming around and you all act like he deserves it. He doesn’t. And the NW has nothing to do with it. And sorry, pal, you never saw anyone with that kind of power and money sitting at Mickey D’s. What a crock.

How did gates car get wedged against the other car without the driver of the other ever seeing gates? There is something else going on here. When I was rear ended once the driver did jump out and run away but he was young and could still run fast.

“get off your high horse!!”

Sorry ... I didn’t know I was going to run into classism ... a “high horse” has nothing to do with the safety and common sense that the richest man in the world trips along through your Emerald city without a care in the world and no protection. How silly of me, I forgot we were talking about the magic kingdom where there is no evil.

>>Yeah, and what’s the father of one of the world’s richest men doing driving a seven-year-old car?<<

Out West men tend to drive vehicles they like and push the newest cars onto the lady of the house. It doesn’t matter how much money they have, it’s probably something to do with independence and personal liberty that men from the NE don’t have.

Poor fellow. Your write to me like I don't know what I am talking about. I assure you dear I know more about these people than you'll even know. People like Bill Gates Sr. frequent the real world in Seattle all the time and without any sort of security. They would refuse it if it was offered.

Get off your ignorant high horse. You don't know anything about these people's worlds nor their lives and you certainly do not know who I am. Put it this way. If you did your comment to me would be a laughing stock. Humility. Try it sometime. You are out of your arena here dude.
