Palin's TV Series a Stage for Political Future?
FoxNews.com ^ | November 13, 2010 | Associated Press

"Sarah Palin's Alaska" portrays the show's heroine as an adventure-loving wife and mother enjoying a whirlwind of activities amid spectacular settings in her home state.

There are no overt clues to her future political ambitions in the first episode of the eight-part TLC documentary series that begins Sunday.

48-42? That is not really bad given the pummeling the lamestream media has given her the past two years. If she decides to run, there won’t be anything that isn’t known already (unlike the still unknown candidate Obama). Though the press won’t give her a chance, she can get her message out through personal appearances and endless campaign ads. Sooner or later they will have to recognize she has a reasonable and understandable message to be given, much like the economic one she just gave urging restraint on printing dollars.

I’ve looked at clouds from both sides now;) ha ha!

Thinking Randy S. was either a ‘plant’ or a guy looking for work.

The coup de grace would be Glenn doing an interview with the guy. Then we could just end it. i.e. Don’t double dip the chip.

Cannot people just watch the show & learn something about geography & Alaska?

I would consider it an expanded ‘travel show’, with a far more interesting hostess. Too bad I cannot get that channel,

Sure- I remember that.

Here’s another trivia question:

Who played Red Ryder? I can see him in my memory, but cannot put a name on him.

I remember who played Little Beaver- but I have a block on who played Red Ryder.

Can anyone help???

Please private mail a response.

since Sarah is Aquarian, like Ronald Reagan always looks way into the future with great plans. She will have plenty of time to go home to Alaska after she cleans up DC. There is a good spread on Sarah and Todd in the November 22 People Magazine.

Looking forward to the series with this great American family. And, she’s not announced that she’s running for president.

When I was a child, I was a devoted fan of my city's new NFL expansion team. I still remember studying the remaing three quarters of the 1966 season's schedule and convincing myself that my beloved expansion team, then in the Division basement, could go undefeated for the rest of the season and make it to the Super Bowl.

Forty four years later, I don't believe in magical thinking anymore.

Regardless of why Sarah Palin has a nation-wide "Unfavorable" rating in national polls of almost 50%, the fact remains that she does.

Sarah Palin has as much chance of winning the general Presidential Election in 2012 as the Miami Dolphins coached by George Wilson, Sr. and quaterbacked by his own son, George Wilson, Jr., had a chance of winning the Super Bowl in 1966.

***Anyone remember Ronald Reagan hosting the TV program “Death Valley Days”, sponsored by “20 Mule Team Borax”?****

I remember that show! I also remember it was hosted by “The Old Ranger’. Many years later I saw it hosted by Ronald Reagan, but the end credits still had The Old Ranger listed.

Didn’t Dick Powell also host it or was that his own Zane Grey Theater? I do rememeber another host for Death Valley Days.

That’s great, and Bristol looks terrific. I think that DWTS has given her an air of confidence like she’s never displayed before, even though she never got that pigeon.

Those last 4 words are a portent of things to come.

BTW, I noticed that a resident of this town (who has never taken down his McCain Palin sign) now has cut a hole where “McCain” used to be, leaving only PALIN! I may do the same with my “red lips” car magnet — just cut the McCain out, or paint it out.

Oh, yes! Loved that show. Reagan had a great voice, and that show got us all used to it. That show was before he became Governor, so when he started giving political speeches it was like listening to your father.

This looks like a really good show. My husband will be so bummed because he’ll be hunting in a remote area of Missouri with NO TV. He just loves Sarah.
