No. Rep. Kirk was chosen for IL voters by the DuPage County RINO establishment because he could win. Kirk was lucky that the Donkeys ran Alexi “Mobster Banker” Giannouilas against him — Alexi sucked even worse than Kirk.

Between Kirk and Alexi, it was like being asked what kind of STD you'd prefer: will you take gonorrhea or syphilis?

Meanwhile the RINOs worked behind the scenes to sabotage Bill Brady's run for governor. To the RINOs in IL, an incompetent and corrupt Donkey governor is better than a conservative in the position. I would not be surprised if they helped the Daley machine in Chicago to manufacture the votes to put Quinn over the top.

Let’s see if Snowe gives him her seat at that table. With the complete flip in Maine she’s already sucking up to the TEA party two years out.

You are wrong on multiple counts, most notably the overall vote totals for Kirk and Brady. Kirk totaled 1,765,594 votes while Brady finished with 1,702,399 votes. Those pesky 60,000 or so votes made the difference between Kirk winning and Brady losing. As for the Chicago suburbs, look at Lake county. Brady won it by about 15,000 votes (50-42%), while Kirk won it by 36,000 votes (57-39%). Kirk also outperformed Brady in Kane and Will counties by about 7,000 total votes. The Chicago suburbs gave Kirk almost 30,000 more votes than Brady. It’s ignorant to argue otherwise.

The Combine is great at manufacturing votes for its preferred puppets, Quinn/Kirk. That was as fraudulent a fix as November 1960.

Zebrahead cites how many more votes Mark Kirk got than Bill Brady in Lake County, which of course is Kirk's OWN congressional district. Isn't it amazing how these Kirkbots ALWAYS go back to Kirk's district to "prove" he was "more popular" with "suburban" voters? It's as if the other 18 congressional districts in the state don't exist, the only "suburbs" that matter are the ones Kirk represented.

You don't see Brady supporters citing how "popular" he is by listing his campaign apperances in Bloomington-Normal or his big totals in McLean County where his state senate district is, do you? Yet Kirk supporters have us believe that everyone loves Mark Kirk based on the sitaution in Lake County and the far north shore suburbs of Crook County, where Kirk has been a Congressman for 10 years. News flash, Kirk shrills: Kenilworth voters hardly represent the "average" Illinois citizen.

If you look at my township, Worth, (which is the second largest suburban township in Crook County by population), Brady did poorly but Kirk did even WORSE (of course I admitted campaigned against the socialist Mark Kirk). None of those bad Brady numbers reflect the situation the day before election day, where Brady supporters had outnumbered Quinn supporters by huge margins for months and Brady lawn signs were everywhere but Quinn signs were incredibly hard to come by. In my precinct, black voters make up only about 20% of the population, but on election day, they made up about 40% of the voters. One of the "local voters" who we couldn't find in the book, admitted the last time he voted was in 2000 for Al Gore. He didn't even vote in the "historic" Obama election of 2008 but for some reason he was motivated to turn out for Pat Quinn. Interesting, isn't it? 4 of the people who showed up to vote in my precinct had early/absentee voted and were attempted to vote twice. They were thwarted only because my precinct has real Republicans as election judges. God knows how many people were voting multiple times in other precincts in the township. Where did all these new voters come from? How come the numbers on election day were over 8 points off from what every poll had shown for months? Don't you find that a bit odd, Zebrahead?

And when it comes to making an effort to win over suburban Crook County, Brady visited my township AT LEAST half a dozen times during the general election, Kirk was AWOL the entire campaign season. My township has nearly 200,000 people, covering about 12 different suburbs, but Kirk acted as if the area was infected with the bubonic plague and wouldn't come near the area (even though our last Republican Senator, Peter Fitzgerald, carried the township handily over Carol Moseley Braun) The same is true all over of Crook County, except, of course, Kirk's OWN district where his fan club here swears he worked hard to meet and greet the voters. I challenge any Illinois freeper who LIVES here in suburban Crook County to point to a pubic campaign apperanence (closed door "by invite only" apperances don't count) by Mark Kirk in a region of suburban Crook County that was NOT part of his congressional district. That means you have roughly 90% of the suburbs out there to cite Kirk's "suburban appeal". I won't hold my breathe waiting for evidence of Kirk's GOTV efforts.

Myself, Dengar, and USconservative all reported seeing the exact same thing on the ground in southwest suburban Crook County. Brady signs everywhere, Quinn signs no where. And those are individual households volunteering choosing to put up signs, not campaign workers.

Kirk gave the middle finger to voters in ALL of suburban Crook County -- except the small portion in his OWN district -- whereas Brady campaigned hard throughout suburban Crook County to the point where downstaters were complaining he had forgotten about them because his campaign stops were nonstop Chicagoland voters. Any freeper lives in suburban Crook County can verify that for you. There's simply no way Kirk legitimately won "more votes" in suburban Crook County after giving us the middle finger. And contrary to Kirk campaign talking points, Kirk's love for partial birth abortion and gay marriage doesn't make him "more popular" with "suburban voters" out here. In fact, the local Democrats in our communities aren't as liberal as him. Many are even pro-life. Why would the run on such a platform if it's such a "losing" issue that scares away "moderate suburban females"?

Stop drinking the kool-aid, zebrahead. Or did the Kirk campaign pay you to post here about how darned popular RINOs are with the Illinois electorate?

Indeed. You have to abandon all logic and common sense to believe the numbers on election day were legit.

John McCain "wrote off" my home state and never once campaign here, Obama was ahead in Illinois by double digits, and at the peak of Obamamania, here in Obama's OWN congressional district, McCain got 38% in my precinct and 40% in my township overall.

Two years later, Obama's numbers have collapsed, Pat Quinn is suffering from being tied to the hip of Blago and has been behind by 6-9% points throughout the election season, Bill Brady has personally greeted thousands of voters in my neighborhood, Brady signs outnumber Quinn signs 3-to-1, and Brady supporters outnumbered Quinn supporters about 10-to-1 in parades out here. Brady gets 32% in my precinct, and 36% in my township overall.

Sad to see freepers buy this BS. If they're not combiners paid to post this stuff, they're incredibly naive.

No, but I don’t think I could disagree with the conclusion of the article more. Kirk is the living embodiment of everything I loathe that dares claim association with the Republican Party, for which I’ve spent virtually every day addressing here ever since his candidacy (or rather, his coronation by the Combine) for this office came to light.

Rep. Kirk was chosen for IL voters because he could win.

Exactly, winners get the power, losers no matter how good conservatives they are, have ZERO Power. If Brady could not win in liberal Illinois, it is an exercise in futility to nominate him, similar to Angle, O'Donnell & Buck.

Who says he didn't win ? Brady carried nearly every county in Illinois except for 2 crumbling Democrat enclaves (Cairo & East St. Louis) and the profoundly corrupt C(r)ook County.

It was crystal clear which candidate IL voted for. I think it may be past time we start implementing some sort of electoral college method (for Governor, Senator, et al) in the individual states to stop massive fraud in one county from overriding the preference for over 90% of the rest of the state.

Might be a good idea but I doubt it will happen in my lifetime.

Election fraud fixing should be a very high priority in this country.
