It turns out being president is a lot harder than Barack Obama thought it was. After the biggest electoral defeat in 80 years, Obama packed up Air Force One and headed out for a political shellacking abroad. You'd be hard pressed to locate an accurate picture of world opinion regarding Obama's trip from our adoring media, so here are the highlights as reported by the foreign press.
Nothing is more emblematic of the Obama Administration's tactful use of "smart power" than the front page of the Drudge Report the other day after Obama delivered his Jakarta speech. As reported by the Israeli press, Obama's comments gained him some strong return fire from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The fallout is all too familiar and truth be told, Obama needs to make a serious effort to dip lower in Israel's opinion polls. A poll just last September showed that only 4% of Israeli's believed Obama was pro-Israel. Still, Obama's remarks in Jakarta highlight just what might be needed to target his few remaining fans.
It would have been hard to offend India, given the fact that Obama had announced a desire to push the country into the top tier of the UN's Security Council. To wax Hawaiian for just a moment, Obongo really wiped out here in Japan, too. (in other words, he was an epic fail here on this segment of the trip as well). They are just ignoring him these days. Its embarrassing.
To bad we don’t have news agencies in the US to cover this story.
Yeah, they suck but word has gotten out, hasn’t it?
Even the clips of Merkel sneering in 0’s direction and acting like he’s a piece of dog doo-doo she just stepped in.
0 regards himself as being in a “progressive” vanguard; the Euros see him as an ideological antique promoting failed ideas and policies.
Indians know a Muslim when they see one.
They just enjoyd a 200 million a day splurge of our tax dollars.
Thanks Imam Barak.

I wonder whether he called it "Pock-eeeee-staaaan"...
I expect he will get his ass kicked over in Europe in the coming days. He is such an obvious empty-suit—clearly a result of affirmative action with teleprompter skills.
Word was that the Indians really looked askance atthe TOTUS.
They aren’t used to smebody needing one. And take him off it, he just rambles like a drunk.
