Interesting that the video of the toddler patdown is no longer available (at least through this link). The event filmed actually happened April 15, 2008 (I know this from the discovery made on a different thread), but that doesn’t make it any less odious.
Well my friend, it is EXACTLY as I say, and internet Myth. That is where one person, blog, etc., picks up on something and it gets copied all over the internet. The problem is it is false, no matter how many “hits” you get on a search engine. Those hits you posted is one blog replicating what another blog has put out there. If it were true, it would be the lead story on FOX and on the front page of the Wall Street Journal.
I have over 5,000,000 frequent flyer miles. I have made three flights in the last two weeks. I am flying again tomorrow. I watch these things very carefully because I am planning on making a complaint the first time I see something suspicious. No way am I getting on a plane if I think Muslims are not being properly screened.
The fact is Muslims are being treated the same as any other passengers. This in and of itself pisses me off but that is another topic. I have seen Muslims patted down when they have opted out of the naked body scan. Some Muslims just choose the naked body scanner. None have tried what the CAIR website (source of this false rumor) suggests they try. The only thing that seems a bit strange to me is in the instances I have observed, they seem to pick the Muslim women more than the Muslim men for the extra screening. I would welcome any credible news link proving me wrong but there is none out there because it is not true.
Pfft...because you haven't experienced it, it doesn't exist?.......Is FOX in on the myth?

CAIR (a terrorist support organization if you ask me) put out a release telling Muslims what the CAIR interpretation of the TSA rules are. In my mind they are inciting Muslims to civil disobedience. The only problem (as in much of what CAIR says) is it is not true.

The rules are very clear that folks in religious garb are subject to full pat down.
This is the current practice, which I observe why I fly.
Neither Obama, the TSA, or any other federal entity has exempted Muslims from any screening procedure.
CAIR is simply trying to stir things up (which is what they do) in keeping with the terrorist Muslim scum that they are.
Heehee, Jihad Puss, or Jihad Kittie....what ever and how ever it should apply!
This is all coming from CAIR, a terrorist support group, that seeks to push the US in Sharia law.
It is not coming from the TSA, Obama, or any other government agency.

Swarthyguy is correct, no exceptions: It doesn’t matter what ‘CAIR’ says - once they hit the airports, the rules are the rules. Below is a statement from John Pistole:
“TSA chief John Pistole told the Senate Homeland Security Committee on Tuesday that passengers who refuse to go through a full-body scanner machine and reject a pat-down won’t be allowed to board, even if they turned down the in-depth screening for religious reasons.”
“That person is not going to get on an airplane,” Pistole said in response to a question from Sen. John Ensign, R-Nev., on whether the TSA would provide exemptions for passengers whose religious beliefs do not allow them to go through a physically revealing body scan or be touched by screeners.

My biggest issue with this whole topic is the TSA refuses to profile.
The reason the Israelis are so good at this is they profile and look for those fylers that have the characteristics of the people that are trying to kill them.
Every person that looks like an Arab man 15-30 years of age should be prolfiled and subject to advanced screening procedures. The TSA goes out of their way to say they will NOT do this, which puts the American public at risk.
BTW - Your cat would not make it through the checkpoint.
