LessIs Moronski was gifted the senatorship by a crooked judge.

Alaska, you've been robbed.

Do they already have the military votes in house or were they on that plane?

Yes it was the Native Alaskans that are conditioned to the Federal funding and grants up here, they get payola from the dividends, they own a lot of land, the feds give them all the toys they want.

I know its going to sound offensive but here it is, its the Native tribes up here that fell for Lisa’s bribes. They shun society, they cannot handle alcohol and many of the villages are dry, but its still smuggled in.

That is where I am pointing my finger at, the lazy natives who don’t realize what they have voted for, all they want is their smoked salmon and moose jerky.

I wonder if Mike Castle, who thought about a write-in campaign too after losing the Delaware primary, could have pulled it off as well and denied Chris Coons?

"Thank the RNC"

You're absolutely right about that.

The RNC is no different than the DNC; their only concern is their own pocket.

The republic can go to hell as far as they are concerned.

Has anyone estimated the number of RAT votes that didn't go for the RAT?

I suspect that RAT crossovers to prevent Joe make the difference.

If McConnell allows her to caucus with the GOP, I'll leave the Party.

Oh he will, he will. It's just a big clubby atmosphere up there. We common folk just can't understand it, don-cha-know...

"We're pleased to welcome Lisa back! Now let's get on with the work we need to accomplish, uh, STUFF, for the American people!"

(or some such bilge will be spewed, I'm sure)

Hard to believe that a write-in today could win a state wide race like this.
Murkowski -- 92,715 unchallenged write-in votes
Miller -- 90,448
             _______
Difference-- 2,267

The RNC didn’t vote for Murkowski, the voters of Alaska did.

Since she left the Republican Party when she decided to run as an independent, if she wishes to caucus with the Republicans in the Senate, she should be treated as a Freshman, as far as seniority goes.

She didn't run as an independent. She ran as a declared Republican write-in candidate. She'll go back with her senority intact.

She had enough uncontested ballots to win. Does not matter if ALL the contested ballots are thrown out, she still wins. Once the toothpaste is out of the tube its very hard to get it back in!

Funny how everybody here is blaming Lisa and the voters of Alaska.

Nobody is blaming Joe Miller for failing to convince enough voters that he is better than Lisa.
He won the primary, wasted time measuring the drapes in Washington, and then when he finally realized he had a fight on his hands, ran the WORST campaign possible.

Makes no difference. Anyone could spend one hour researching the candidates and their stance on the issues and see that Miller was far superior to Murkowski. Those who voted for Murkowski, both Republican and Democrat, did not want to see a conservative representing them.

They got their wish.

This is what happens to a lazy society.

I fear this is a preview to the 2012 presidential election.

Miller will ask for a re-count.

Good for him defending the integrity of the process.

Alaskans deserve it.
