Thune just lost any support for 2012 from me (VANITY)

Posted on 11/19/2010 2:14:35 PM PST by jakerobins

John Thune voted for S510...the Senate bill enabling the FDA to have wide Regulation Authority over the food supply. Sorry folks but I still say DeMint is the man to watch...and of Course Sarah Palin despite her support for RINO McCain..

What to watch for is who spoke out against this bill prior to passage. Anybody? heh Hello, anyone? Probably not.

If they speak out now, well, it is too late.

So yes, Thune stinks.

Thune voted against it.

I provided the ink to the Senate website site.

Why is Thune getting attacked?

I think you need to verify things first attacking people.

Whoa! Keep your hands off my junk...LOL! Just kidding.. I have NO Problem with Palin repaying McCain for his picking her for his VP by campaigning for him..Just stating that “some” people do see that as a problem.

I agree. Thing is, I never heard from any of our potential candidates on this one.

Okay, lets listen to all the excuses.

The silence is quite pronounced.

Does anyone have the final count on who voted for SB 510 and who failed to warn us?

Call Thune and give him the word that he’s going to be voted out.

I’m getting different results from different websites...Several say he voted NAY..yet a few say he voted for Cloture which basicly allows the bill to proceed..(as good as a YEA vote!) So ...sorry if this isn’t clear but he allowed the VOTE to go forward.....Just as bad..

Why? He voted against it and the thread starter got this wrong.

Someone needs to set the record straight.
Thune got a bad rap, thanks to The American Thinker.

I didn’t start it to “hate” on Thune...Just disappointed in someone who would Vote on Cloture for this bill allowing it to go forward! Sorry for those who like Thune....But he basicly voted for the bill...

Different votes.
He voyed FOR cloture (vote 250), then voted AGAINST the motion to proceed (vote 251). I have no idea why that is done.
