Jesse Jackson isn't the only activist that can use corporate boycotts for political purposes. Starting next year, the huge Tea Party organizer FreedomWorks will urge supporters to punish huge corporations like General Electric and Johnson and Johnson for backing President Obama's progressive agenda.
In an exclusive review for Whispers of their plan, FreedomWorks president Matt Kibbe says: "Tea Party activists are willing to tackle progressive CEOs just as they tackled progressive politicians. Judging by the results of the midterm elections, progressive CEOs should buckle up, because Tea Party activists are going to give them a very bumpy ride."

I am on board with this! Happily!
How about ALL of TV and ALL of Hollywood.
How about the Unions?
Let’s DO IT.....
Next time Trumpka is up for election there should be a tea party endorsed candidate.
We should start with Hollywood because they have degraded our culture and dumbed down the kids.
I like the idea. But don’t stop with just GE and Johnson and
Johnson for supporting 0.
Boycott the worst and most visible job exporters to China.
Lots of em come to mind. Just about any consumer products
manufacturer.
To boycott such companies, you need to know all their subsidiaries. GE and J&J have tentacles in a lot of products and, yet, I find I already don’t buy from many of these.
Yea, like China, where unions are illegal. Sorry, I don't understand how a conservative could be against people's right to meet, form a group and then seek improved working conditions and pay.
Maybe I misunderstand your point but are you saying unions should be illegal? Forgive me if I misunderstood you. It was a very short sentence you put up and I may be reading more into it. If you mean adjusting the laws, that is a topic for discussion I suppose.
“FreedomWorks” Never heard of them. Is this what we really want do do, attack businesses? I thought that’s what the left did.
What is your opinion on "right to work" laws? I agree that people should be allowed to organize but do you think they should be forced to join a union to keep a job?
My first day at work for a corporation Jesse Jackson was there shaking them down.
I grew up in a Union family; Grandparents, Father and in-laws. I remember the steel strike in the late 50’s and union packages feeding my family. Just about every variety of Campbell’s soup, crackers and peanut butter sandwiches. Still have a fondness for the later dipped in tomato soup.
I made the mistake of saying something then that was taken as anti union and told that I was eating union food and to put it down and leave the table.
My point is if the rank and file are voting conservative, and their leadership is spending many millions of their dues supporting the very candidates they vote against, then there needs to be a challenger that reflects their values.
Hopefully they won’t get “Jablonski-ed”

What’s up with the ZOT in the title?
'Freedom Works' is the fundraising arm of professional politicians and lawyers behind the corruption that's run rampent in DC for decades.
>The Honorable Dick Armey (Chairman) Former House Majority Leader ENOUGH SAID!
>C. Boyden Gray, of the District of Columbia, is the former Special Envoy for Eurasian Energy Diplomacy (2008-2009) and former Special Envoy for European Union Affairs (2008-2009). He is now a founding partner of the D.C.-based law firm, Gray & Schmitz LLP. How nice, DITTOS
>The Honorable James H. Burnley REALLY a lawyer that's honorable?
>Jeb Bush, 'One Bush Too Far' THREE Bushes makes a Dynasty!
These lobbyists and 'retired' politicians are professional bureaucrats who are shilling for the classic RINO wing of the Republican party. County Club fellas who benefit a least three ways by planting an 'open business as usual' label on the Tea Party. In the bargain they are stirring the pot and seek to divide loyalties. Give it a rest boys! You guys still don't understand. How's that possible?
One, articles like these poison the Tea Party message with a typical DC shakedown image. Two, they muddy the water for other RINO's so they can freely swim about in water the Tea Party now owns. Forget it boys, we remember all of you crooked bastards. Third, by alleging the Tea Parties 'open for business' you sully and taint an altuistic patriotic movement. You guys are just as bad as the Democrat Party. No you're worse, because you lied to all of us. We expect lies from the dirty Dems!
Finally, you position yourselves to get 'a piece of the action' as intermediaries between corporate America and the Tea Party. No thanks, we don't want you or your crooked money anywhere near us!
Begone, Go and Sin No More!

Definitely a story with two sides, and worthy of a scene in a motion picture.
Got it. I thought it strange that it was posted and so many were in favor.
Thanks for the response A.M.
