U.S. Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Mullen prefers dialogue with Iran, believing that a military strike would only delay, not halt, its nuclear plans.

The United States needs to be realistic about its efforts to engage Iran, whose leaders are lying about Tehran's nuclear program and are on a path to building nuclear weapons, the top U.S. military officer said.

Admiral Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said in comments released on Friday that the U.S. military has been thinking about military options on Iran "for a significant period of time" but added that diplomacy remained the focus of U.S. efforts.

Thorough. They just need to be thorough in their application of munitions and take them back to the stone age. If it is not done, Iran will step up to the post and continue their march and assault on the world.

Did Mullen sleep through every military and world history class at West Point? Or is he just that stoopid?

So he slept thru the Academy, not the Point. I still cannot fathom the stupidity as well as the inappropriateness of his public comments. I bet obama won’t fire this one though, huh? This one wants to talk to Islamic Lunatics instead of end their world threat. Good stuff!

“U.S. Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Mullen prefers dialogue with Iran, believing that a military strike would only delay, not halt, its nuclear plans.”

If we are going to stike militarily, then the idea should be to put Iran out of OUR misery, so what’s to delay?

“..... but added that diplomacy remained the focus of U.S. efforts.”

What in the “H”....”diplomacy” with Muslims!?. THEY LIE LIKE “H” to infidels. What diplomacy!?

Mullens is using the term “diplomacy” with respect to negotiations, discussions, whatever with Muslims then HE is the one lying to us. There is no such thing as diplomacy with Muslims. Muslims are a one way street. Their way or the stairway to the gallows.

Mullen is a political climber along the same lines as was “Weasely” Clark. The General Officer corps in the U.S. Military is full of like kind.

It is true that liberal and RINO administrations promote wimpy, liberal thinking idiots to the rank of general officer.

They need to be able to point to their sissies in uniform when they propose some especially wimpy military policy.

Said sissies then confirm the policy and the ignorant public thinks that General Carnation Bootlikker is another Patton.

Admiral Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is an incompetent, weak-kneed, liberal, politically correct A$$ HOLE!

He makes Wesley Clark look good, and that is quite a feat.

There was a time when Bush was getting ready to strike. Then there was an abrubt release of “classified” info that Iran was not making nuclear weapons. REMEMBER?

As a navy Admiral he likely never attended West Point. But based on his actions and statements of the past, he has never seen any value in a military, or the necessary application of military force.

The guy ought to be heading up some wonderfully radical UN organization, though I suppose he means well.

How does America survive our leadership deficiency?

Mullen is such a jerk. They are lying to us, so the answer is to talk to them some more. Yeah, right.
