Sometimes it’s the smallest thing that makes a lasting impression. A single smart comment or a couple of small gestures can really impress a woman, while an offensive remark or a display of carelessness can utterly doom your chances. A woman will decide relatively quickly whether or not you’re date-worthy, and all the little things you do or don’t do will help her make up her mind.
With these realities in mind, we’ve put together this list of the top 10 simple ways to impress a woman. Nothing complicated here. Nothing time-consuming or exceptionally difficult. But this list of habits, comments and behaviors could make the difference between getting her number and getting a dirty look.

As a person of super-ordinary looks - see my profile - that never occurred to me. However, I would think that even a very beautiful woman wouldn’t mind being told, “Those are really neat shoes!” or “The beading on your dress is so festive!”
Maybe that’s the kind of thing only women say to one another, while men are limited to, “Hey, a butt!”
I have found that the top items for me have been:
1. Be yourself, be sincere
2. Look her in the eye
3. If you can make her laugh, you are past the 50% mark
4. You have got to impress her parents
5. Be her friend
6. The 1st date should be fun, not necessarily romantic
7. The 2nd date start turning on the charm
8. Getting to the 3rd date is the goal. After that, you are in the gold medal round.
9. Don’t over impress or over dress.
10. Complement the hell out of her.
My wife and I were sitting at a table at her high school reunion, and she kept staring at a drunken man swigging his drink as he sat alone at a nearby table.
I asked her, “Do you know him?”
“Yes”, she sighed,”He’s my old boyfriend....
I understand he took to drinking right after we split up those many years ago, and I hear he hasn’t been sober since.”
“My God!” I said, “Who would think a person could go on celebrating that long?”

I read all the time about the appeal of “bad boys,” but I don’t think anyone has ever described the specific behavior of such people and explained why they find it appealing.
Personally, I’ve been married to a nice man for 22 years.
That was cute.
Then I grew up and married a nice man.
The "bad boy" thing is a great schtick for a little while, but it's annoyingly creepy as one gets older.

They forgot the biggest one: MONEY
I knew a guy in college. 98 pound weakling. Treated woman horribly, even by some of my neanderthal friend’s standards. Would come up to woman he does not know and hit her on the butt or even take a swipe at her breasts. Balding at 20 with thick glasses (he got contacts in his junior year). His laugh would drive anyone away. One last point, a social and academic dunce.
BUT HE WAS RICH....
He “got” nearly every woman he went after. All he had to do was stand in the student union and women would practically through themselves at him.
These are nice rules for the poor guys out there but if you want a woman’s attention, get rich.

Strange comments here about women & money. Mr. Gun had nothing but a low-wage job when I married him - I was the homeowner with rising career & no debt. So, what attracted me to him? He loved me first; he’s smart and; he’s a great communicator.
What would turn me off most? A slob...in appearance, manner, speech, and household.
Could you describe “bad boy” behavior and why it was appealing? I am truly at a loss.

Yes there are women that see the light and marry and try to be the good wife, but the question is “how do you impress a woman”.
It is sad to see so many people hold money in such a high regard.
Alot of low-life’s have alot of money.....doesn’t mean I want to spend my life with them.
