SEATTLE, Nov. 28, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Washington State chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-WA) today called on the FBI and state law enforcement authorities to step up protection for the region's Muslim community after an intentionally-set fire damaged a mosque in Oregon.
Fire officials say the Sunday morning blaze damaged the Salman Al-Farisi Islamic Center in Corvallis, Ore., a house of worship once attended by a recently-arrested terror suspect. The FBI is investigating the incident.

"Just as American Muslims repudiate any act that would threaten our nation's safety and security, we ask our fellow citizens to reject any attacks on Muslims or their religious institutions," said CAIR-WA Executive Director Arsalan Bukhari.
Bukhari said he recently held a news conference in Seattle with two Muslim women who were allegedly attacked at a gas station by an assailant shouting racial and religious slurs.

Other recent anti-Muslim incidents include an attack on a New York Muslim mother and child, the arrest of New York teens who allegedly harassed a Muslim student because of his faith and the defacement of a South Carolina mosque.
Mosques in California, Tennessee, New York, Illinois, Wisconsin, Arizona, Louisiana, Kentucky, Texas, and Florida have faced vocal opposition or have been similarly targeted by hate incidents in recent months.

CAIR's national office recently announced the launch of a department devoted to addressing the alarming rise of Islamophobic sentiment in American society.
American Muslim individuals and institutions are being urged to review advice on security procedures contained in CAIR's "Muslim Community Safety Kit."

A Mosque is the fort where they plan covert operations.
“parking wars” is one of my guilty pleasures. On a recent episode in Detroit the ticketing guy ticketed many cars parked on a sidewalk near a mosque. Someone came out of the mosque and called him the N word for daring to ticket those cars. Later in the episode a “leader” of the mosque made an apology for this and insisted that the “N” word man had no connection to the mosque. Hugs were exchanged and my hopes for the episode with tickets issues in front of a mosque were dashed.
Make no mistake. The N word man meant what he said. However the mosque officials understood that they were 1-On camera 2-had the opportunity to draw yet another black man into their net. It is sicking.
I am shocked that they concluded Arson so quickly. Usually in arson cases it takes them months of investigation to conclude arson.
I suppose that Portland is right on the stick. Or not.
The easiest way to protect Moslems is to move them out of harm’s way — say, to one of fellow Muzzie Obama’s 57 states. Thanks mdittmar.

Spiritual advice. Like, how many rocks do I need to hit my wifes head with if dinner is late.

Mosques are forward operating bases.
I don't know why that makes me think of this.
Perhaps another Reichstag fire deliberately set to provoke a reaction.
Oh noes! The terroristic use of the First Amendment must be stopped!
Since the fire was in the offices where the FBI might want to investigate, rather than the santuary where an anti-muslim might want to light a fire, my guess is the muzzies set the fire to cover up their rampant support of terror from the mosque.
We won’t really know until the investigation is complete. But CAIR and the MSM assume retribution not cover-up, which exposes their political bias against Western Civilization in favor of Islam.
Whoever set the fire did not make it big enough.
Hey CAIR, I’m sure a LOT of Americans would help your little terrorist brethren feel “safe” by giving them a one-way ticket to Somalia or any other Muslim hell-hole.
In Bosnia the Muzzies would mortar themselves to gain sympathy.
