The House of Representatives approved a decades-old settlement worth $4.6 billion Tuesday that resolves two class-action suits filed against the federal government by black farmers and Native Americans.

The thousands who joined the suit argued that the government discriminated against them as they applied for loans for agricultural ventures.

The House approved the package 256-to-152.

Black farmers would receive $1.2 billion, after they alleged they were cheated out of loans from the Agriculture Department. The government will direct $3.4 billion to American Indians who say the Interior Department swindled them out of royalties from natural resources like gas and timber.

Is this an extension of the Pigford case?

http://pajamasmedia.com/zombie/2010/07/27/pigford-v-glickman-86000-claims-from-39697-total-farmers/

We need the names of the critters who voted for this, again.

“If you speak out against this bill, you’re racist.”

That’s racist.

The government will direct $3.4 billion to American Indians who say the Interior Department swindled them out of royalties from natural resources like gas and timber.

This reminds me about an Native Indian lady who lived near our town. She left the reservation in OK because all the oil dollars and bought several hundred acres with her American husband.

A couple of years after they built a nice home, an oil company hit a wildcat well on that land. Within a few years, there were at least seven producing wells on the place. She said she was cursed with oil money.

Liberalism is the eventual suicide of the West to a Marxist power structure that will use Islam as a useful idiot as its military, then they will turn on the Muslim world.

We are already done for, we just keep BBQ’ing and drinking cold Bud Lights, ignoring the obvious.

"The costs of the bill would be offset by diverting dollars from a surplus in nutrition programs for women and children, extending customs user fees and new efforts for the Treasury to recoup excess unemployment insurance payments."

A "surplus in nutrition programs for women and children?"???

People have to realize that this kind of stuff is never going away, never. It will always be the politically connected class i.e. blacks, hispanics, muslims, indians, women, etc. using discrimination as a tool.

Now that got the golden egg, next one will be larger!

Everything that is happening right now in our country and the economy is 100% due to political correctness and our country’s reaction to it.

The country is not coming back.....

If anyone comes across a roll call for this bill, please provide a link. I’d like to know who the republicans were who apparently voted for it.

When are the government bureaucrats who “discriminated” against the blacks and Indians going to be indicted and tried for their “hate crimes”? The American people need to demand answers. The U.S. taxpayers should not be the only people punished by this DemocRAT reparations scheme.

The reason you can’t find it is because they (house) changed the title to hide it.

Roll Date Issue Question Result Title/Description
584 30-Nov H R 4783 On Motion to Concur in the Senate Amendments P To accelerate the income tax benefits for charitable cash contributions for the relief of victims of the earthquake in Chile, and to extend the period from which such contributions for the relief of victims of the earthquake in Haiti may be accelerated.

Click on HR4783 to see the title change and roll call 584 for the votes
