Seducing Teen Girls Leftward: 10 Shocking Items Lurking on the Library Shelves
David Horowitz's NewsReal Blog ^ | Megan Fox

Posted on 12/01/2010 5:33:11 AM PST by Michael van der Galien

Where can you find oral sex, drug use, a fondness for big government social programs and addictions to multiple sexual partners? If you immediately thought of the Clinton Presidential Library, you’re close, but it’s not the only library dedicated to debauchery.

I have spent the last week reading books and magazines I randomly selected off the public library shelves. I literally closed my eyes and just started grabbing stuff, which makes what I found that much more disturbing. The results of this experiment are filled with leftist brainwashing, explicit sex, foul language, drug use, alcohol abuse, permissive parents, abusive parents and much more.

Please understand, the following material contains language that is pornographic and obscene. But if you don’t see it with your own eyes, I doubt you would believe that any publishing house is hawking this stuff to children.

Besides the kiddie porn, the political elements dropped into these books and magazines are insidious. Never have I found conservative talking points in any of the “hot reading lists” for kids. But if your kid suddenly wants to turn vegan, save a baby seal and/or polar bears, and has developed an inexplicable dislike for the NRA, check their backpack for one or more of the following tomes.

10. Frogs and French Kisses by Sarah Mlynowski

This book, while definitely making it to my worst list, was the only book in the group to actually put me to sleep. Doctors should prescribe this to their insomniac patients instead of Ambien. There is no creativity or interest in this story.

Sadly that doesn’t surprise me at all. The left uses Hollywood in the same way. Media is the best way they can push their agenda. That is why there is such an outcry when a right leaning radio station speaks out against them and there is a call for the goverment to step in a regulate it.

Having worked at a US Embassy for over two years I can tell you thatthe libraries at the US Embassy, which is available to the host country, is filled with utter crap supporting big government, socialism and has next to nothing supporting christian values and our founding history and American exceptionalism.

For all the worthlessness of the books on that list, it doesn't have half the negative and corrupting impact of a viewership diet of Oprah and The View.

We MUST reciprocate. Otherwise all people hear is their side, and people forget how much leftist crap is being pushed out there

Liberals don’t believe in censorship ever, well except in certain cases.

When the Vagina Monologues became a celebrated performance act, celebrating child sexual molestation but only because it was from a left leaning older woman abusing a young girl that it was to be a liberating experience.

The duplicity of the liberal is amazing! One day they lock up a teacher for touching a coochie-snorter, then the next day they celebrate the very same thing as being wonderous?

WTF?

Another activity that injures children (IMHO) is the use of computers for porn. I visited a library with my kids and one of my little ones said, “Mommy, that man is looking at naked ladies and ... (I will leave the rest of what she said out because the moderator will have a stroke). I complained to one of the librarians who advised me (rather nastily) that he had the RIGHT to view what he wanted online and I should visit later that day or tomorrow. Libraries are no longer a building for higher learning; it is a building of shame. Just a thought.

And FReepers worry about Harry Potter!

I’m bookmarking this site for ANYONE who thinks Harry Potter is bad. Parents would do well to introduce HP to their girls, where Ron and Hermione kiss for the first time in the second to last chapter of the 7th book and end up married in the epilogue.

This is why I never go to the library. Our books come from Amazon, used.

Normally I think people tend to read too much into books, make way too big a deal of things. But this is pretty bad. On the other hand...

Just try and find a modern man out there who will agree to give up the second salary so his wife can stay home to care for his children.

I did. We've gone without nice toys and expensive vacations for years because of it, but the we agree it's best for the kids. But it's not a sexist thing, just practical, since I'd stay home if my wife had more earning power than me.

Same here... but quite honestly I can't really say I miss what we gave up that much.

I put two daughters through high school and was constantly having issues with books assigned to them through the English curriculum. You have to be watching every minute. It does provide a teachable moment though to tell your kids that “this is how Liberal Idiots think”.

Where is your library located that this happened? Most libraries have safeguard so that does not happen. In fact in California and some other states they had to lift some of the safeguards for being too strict. I say this because some women wanted to google information about “breast cancer” and could not. Now when one googles that, well it is possible to get images of the breast from time to time. Then again there are women, and they are trying to learn more about a health problem so that is different.

A dirty old man looking at breasts while kids are sitting beside him? Now that is just wrong!

You sound like me!
My kids have heard it so many times from me that when one of them ask why some lib says something, they shout, “Cause they’re idiots!”
