Alarms are ringing loud in the business sector. According to the Venezuelan Confederation of Industries (Conindustria), 234 companies have been expropriated so far this year. "The private sector is seriously deteriorated, public policies implemented in the last few years have been steadily destroying jobs," said Carlos Larrazábal, president of Conindustria. The data do not include government's seizures in the agricultural sector. However, these figures confirm the intensification of the expropriation policy in the past two years.

Note to Hugo Chavez: Stupid one trick pony move.

Once done, you can never milk this cash cow again. Your regime is unsustainable, but you will destroy the Venezuelan economy.

I assume this is your ultimate objective. When done, you can then leave the country and live off your loot squirreled away in the Cayman Islands and Switzerland.

He's actually talking about selling stock in the oil companies he stole. Frankly, I will have no sympathy for the liberal parasites who are willing to buy in for "a great deal" on a stolen company when Chavez does what he does best to them. Honest people wouldn't be a part of that, so he'll only be ripping off other crooks the second time around.

Aww, so accurately if not delicately put. Allow me to add Toledo to the list. He’s making noises to have another go at President.

How many seized here? Well, its being done in our own unique way, depending on industry. GM, Chrysler, lots of banks. In a way, regulations to the neck is a “seizing” of entire industries.

The national oil company suspended all payments to material and services vendors about 3 weeks ago. They figure to have enough oil out of the ground and in route to the US by mid January to resume paying accounts. Wonderful folks. Genius leadership.

Why the excerpt?

That is so damn irritating.

Would it kill y’all to just post the whole article so fellow FReepers don’t have to leave FR to go to a crappy blog or whatever this site is?

Sorry for the excerpt. It has sort of become a habit as many sites get really angry when you take their material and publish to sites like FR.

There is an excerpt list on the front page of FR. You would be surprised at how many people there are that simply won’t click on an unknown site. Especially on a PC they use for work or can’t afford to have infected with a virus.

I love to give blog pimps hell but I know that is not what you are or why you do it. It would just be much appreciated.
