Reporting from Beirut — A majority of Muslims around the world welcome a significant role for Islam in their countries' political life, according to a new poll from the Pew Research Center, but have mixed feelings toward militant religious groups such as Hamas and Hezbollah.
According to the survey, majorities in Pakistan, Egypt, Jordan and Nigeria would favor changing current laws to allow stoning as a punishment for adultery, hand amputation for theft and death for those who convert from Islam to another religion. About 85% of Pakistani Muslims said they would support a law segregating men and women in the workplace.
Muslims in Indonesia, Egypt, Nigeria and Jordan were among the most enthusiastic, with more than three-quarters of poll respondents in those countries reporting positive views of Islam's influence in politics: either that Islam had a large role in politics, and that was a good thing, or that it played a small role, and that was bad.
Turkish Muslims were the most conflicted, with just more than half reporting positive views of Islam's influence in politics. Turkey has struggled in recent years to balance a secular political system with an increasingly fervent Muslim population.

Islam is political . It isn’t a religion. At best it is a cult.

These are the dregs of the human species that lack the ability to sense the value of dignity, abuse the respect that is shown to them for their existence as token human beings, and in turn show a callous disregard for human achievement and advancement, choosing instead to yearn for the times and laws of a stage of human development that is best forgotten. They are the most potent threat to human advancement simply because of the lopsided nature of their existence which thrives on undeserved tolerance that they receive from free societies, world-over.
They are the 1:1 analogue of what a cancer does to a human body, applied to a nation-state. No free, self-respecting society should accomodate such vile, ignorant and barbarism-loving, anti-intellectual human automatons which behave like animals whilst claiming to be human. Doing so only encourages them, and the mortal affliction only grows to attain the point-of-no-return from whence that host nation can be declared as practically dead.
Just the sight of those bumbling fools in the picture in the article makes my blood boil. May they all get a good taste of the “justice” that their cabal of a religion promotes, to the point of their individual and collective annihilation.
They hate the West.

True religions oppose evil. Islam embodies evil.
But Obama, his comrades in the government, academia, the media, and the PC crowd in general all tell us that Islam is a religion deserving respect, and protected by the First Amendment. I imagine that they don’t realize that the the Ayatollah Khomeini once said, “Islam is politics or it is nothing”. They also probably don’t realize that sharia law (so-called “Holy Law”) “deals extensively with the acquisition and exercise of power, the nature of legitimacy and authority, the duties of ruler and subject, in a word, with what we in the West would call constitutional law and political philosophy.” (1) Islam does not recognize secular law, such as our own Constitution. The ideal for Islam is to combine or merge the state with “religion” in such a manner that religious freedom and individual rights are denied. It is fundamentally at odds with our Constitution.
Islam is a totalitarian political ideology which teaches hatred, discrimination and barbaric violence against Jews, Gentiles, Infidels, Buddhists, Americans —— even against other Muslims. There are similarities between Islam and Nazism. Allowing mosques or sharia courts in the United States is similar to tolerating outposts of Hitler’s National Socialism during World War II. We often hear about “radical” Islam versus “moderate” Muslims. This is a bogus dichotomy. There is no such thing as “sort of” Muslim. People either adhere to Islam or they don’t. We are also told sometimes that Muslims are a race. This is totally wrong; there are Muslims of various races in most countries.
Islam belongs in the 7th century. If Muslims would wake up, reject Islam, and join the 21st century, the world would be far more peaceful.
Congress should identify Islam as a political ideology which is subversive to our Constitution. Mosques and sharia law should be outlawed. Muslim immigration to the U.S. should be halted. Muslims should not serve in our civilian government or the military.

It is abundantly clear that profiling should be used, but instead the government (TSA, etc.) has spent the last 9 years pretending that 300 million Americans and millions of other travelers are equally suspect. The stupidity of the government is beyond contempt.

Exactly so.
The Islamic concept of the “umma” is alien to the Western mind, but it is totalitarian through and through. Lenin was much like Mohammed - ruthless and driven. I’ve never read of Lenin possessing any Mo-like fondness for ‘tweeners, however.
If sharia law is implemented in the USA and it denies a woman’s ‘reproductive rights’ only THEN will N.O.W come out publicly against Islamic law.
Of course, there will be too few N.O.W members too protest after the public stonings for adultery and the female honor killings for dishonoring their husbands.

No! Not then. Not ever!
First, foremost and ALWAYS these every multiplying anti-American front groups, disguised by causes or victimization status, are extremists bent on our subjugation.
They’re telling us very clearly what they want. They can’t live in a civilized country.
The reason the “folks” want this stuff is because that is what Islam teaches them. When is the rest of the world going to wake up? We have got to stop letting them emmigrate.
